Apart from the sunset ,the service has gone down hill .
What used to be a great experience ,is now turning into crap service and even worse food ,with the priorty being placed on Minimum spend of at least €100 Euro and rising depending where you sit .
Booked a table and must have been told 4 times about a minimum spend …that’s your initial welcome .
From there it went down hill rapid ,ordered the calamari that was that overcooked it was impossible to even chew it ,then a steak that was only just bigger than a size of a matchbox .
The rib eye tacos were absolutely laughable.
The minimum spend was €100 a head for two that was €200 .
One of my friends came over to the table and sat for 10 minutes for a drink and a chat .
When our bill came they tried to hit us with € 300( claiming that become someone sat at our table even though it was for 10 minutes then they get charged €100 ,the actual bill was €222 including drinks .
I remember when Mambo first opened up ,if the provided that kind of experience at the beginning it wouldn’t have lasted a month .
So in short if you’re looking for a great sunset ,but crap overpriced service and food .
Then this is the place to go .

Perfect location for sunsets. Prices / person depend on seating area and season. Anyway, Mambo is not cheap but it is the perfect place for pre - party before going to Hi, Ushuaia and other places.

We took our 13 year old daughter for her first iconic sunset Mambo experience & to celebrate that it was 30 years since we ourselves first ever set foot there. Had the best super friendly service by the young lady who looked after us at our table (Lucy or Louise). The food was lovely and the drinks even better. Have to give a big shout out to Imani who went above & beyond on a very busy night to get our daughter a photo with her fave DJ who was playing. Yes Mambos has a minimum spend but it has to be done at least once on your Ibizan trip.

Let’s be clear, you don’t come to Mambo for the variety or quality of the food - it’s all about the sunsets and the music.
Have visited here many, many times over the years and always make time for a sunset dinner here while on the island.
Yes, it’s overpriced for what you get, but that’s to be expected here.
Suck up the bill, relax and enjoy the experience and the music, and worry about the credit card bill long after the sun has set.
Tip - book well in advance for a seafront table at sunset.
