Walked past the famous cafe mambo the night before the booming, and, like dads do, took off moaning. The views no better than other bars, it’s too posy, they’re all affected and paying OTT to be seen blah blah blah.
Had my arm twisted to go the next day as she really wanted a dress up posh night while here, so got dressed a went.
It was great. Drinks were all pucka stuff and we had a proper go at the cocktail menu in our 3 hours, leaving the place in exactly the state you should having shed 250e.
Music was great, view was great, staff were brilliant. A well oiled machine that’s expensive but well worth it.
Been to far more expensive venues and had loads less fun and left dissatisfied. Not from here. Hats off to them, worth a visit.

Great atmosphere, great food, great service! And the sunset is to die for! We were on the regular terrace and had a great view of the sunset and afterwards, we turned our seats to see the DJ! We had the best time and will definitely be back again!

Fantastic lunch!

We visited on the 9th of May for lunch with the kids. I’ve always wanted to visit Ibiza, we visited Cafe Mambo with the kids (even though we travelled as a family, I still wanted to experience one of the iconic spots).

We couldn’t visit on the date we had originally booked as my step son was unwell, but I rang to change and it was amended with no fuss.

I had originally booked a table right on the sea front but as it was quite warm and we had been walking for a while sightseeing, I asked to sit on the terrace instead, so the kids were out of the sun. This was no problem at all, we were sat near the DJ next to the Alec Monopoly mural which was super cool 😎

The only thing was that we had to ask for a high chair about 3 times, staff were quite busy but other than that were very attentive and friendly.

We were given free bread as “the kitchen was slow”… honestly I didn’t think it was slow at all but the gesture was lovely and our food came out soon after.

I had a strawberry daiquiri with lunch and it was honestly probably the best I’ve ever had. Myself and my partner both had the Mambo Burger and it was lovely, not many chips though!

Terrible. Don’t waste your holiday time or money here. I was there on May 11th with my wife for her birthday. We had a nice table and that’s as good as it got. We were in no rush and were there for sunset, drinks, food and the music. Our waitress could not have been worse if she tried. She was too stretched across too many tables and it was full. We could not order drinks, we could not order food and we kept getting the wrong orders to the table. The food is absolutely rubbish, it’s at best a takeaway after a night out. We got coffee at the end after a wait of 30 mins and they are given to us cold. The other staff that were bring us drinks more or less dropped in on the table, and couldn’t be bothered to take other glasses or plates. The music was brutal, no atmosphere and no party. Than they had a guy flying about in a mini glider parachute thing across the front. It was laughable. There are so many nicer places than this. Don’t believe the hype or insta posts, if I could select 0 stars I would. Avoid!

I don’t know what I was expecting, but it certainly wasn’t decent coffee & huevos rancheros for breakfast!
Only associated normally with dj’s & partying the night away, this cafe is rather wonderful during the day with surprisingly pleasing decor & beautiful staff.
