“amazing spacious apartment”
Reviewed 21 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

What a beautiful apartment we stayed in. The owners made us so welcome and gave us valuable information regarding the best and closest supermarkets and also recommended a great surf school where are kids learnt to surf.
The apartment is really spacious with everything you would for a perfect holiday, what makes it great is the large veranda/balcony the leads straight down to the swimming pool as we were out of season and I think the rest of the apartments are mostly residential the kids had the pool to themselves, it was only small and the sunbeds and chairs could do with updating but the kids had fun and the apartment has chairs and 2 sunbeds that you could always take down.
Ericeira itself is lovely with lots of cobbled streets and café bars and amazing places to eat all the people who we met were very polite and accommodating.
The apartment is roughly at 10 min walk into the centre and its all down hill so coming back could be a bit of a challenge if you are not used to walking but a taxi is only 4 euros.
we enjoy walking so walked to quite a lot of the beaches they were all lovely.
we came to this area as we were attending a wedding at quinta de sant'ana which was an amazing place its also a vineyard so worth a visit it you can.
we probably would have never gone to this part of Portugal but so glad we did and would love to return so unspoilt not an English bar in sight!
all in all a wonderful apartment and a wonderful area

“A lovely holiday”
Reviewed 20 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

This was our first trip to Ericeira and we were not disappointed. It is a lovely resort - the Portuguese are very friendly, the weather was glorious, no biting insects and the waves were amazing. If you hope to surf and are not very experienced then i would recommend joining a surf school as the waves are very powerful.
The apartment was beautiful: very well furnished, modern and clean. The beds are extremely comfortable and the kitchen has all the facilities that you might need. The only downside is the fact that the apartment is at the top of a very steep hill just over 1 mile from the main village centre and town beaches so you need to enjoy walking. The beach bus that serves all of the main beaches including the top surfing beaches is great value at 1 euro for any journey.

There also seemed to be quite a few dogs living locally who loved an evening howl but generally this stopped after about 11pm

“Amazing apartment and lovely town”
Reviewed 27 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We had such a lovely holiday in this homely apartment. From the beginning Nuno and Carlo were very friendly, prior to arriving we were sent very detailed instructions on how to get to Ericeira, which was very helpful, it took all the stress out of the journey. When we arrived they had loads of great information for us about the area and how we could spend our week. Unfortunately we didn't get to see any of the places they recommended as we found it hard to leave the apartment and this little town. The surf was great, the fresh fish was amazing and the apartment had so many extra nice homely touches such as blankets for the terrace, a nespresso machine and a BBQ. Ericeria is a beautiful village and everyone was so friendly, we made friends everywhere we went and were sad to leave! Hopefully we will back!

“Home from home”
Reviewed 23 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Firstly, thank you Nuno and Carla for such a warm welcome, and delicious cake! We had a very comfortable stay in your apartment, it had everything we needed to feel at home, including two very sweet cats who visited us at the pool.

We were close to great beaches and places to eat out, and also supermarkets if needed.

It was lovely to be within easy driving distance to Lisbon and Sintra.

Now thank you most of all for comfortable beds, extra pillows and throws! It's surprising how many apartment and villa owners really miss out on this, so much so, you dread going to bed!

“Lovely apartment”

What a lovely apartment. Spacious, well equipped, clean and secure. Very convenient. Owner friendly and helpful with good English. Close enough to town centre and local supermarket but a steep walk coming back.
