Description: The Concept of our restaurant is to combine the traditional tuscan kitchen with the fantasy and the gastronomic mastery of our Starred Chef Francesco Bracali. Meat and vegetables are the focus of our kitchen, and we prepare our dishes with typical and esteemed ingredients: pink chickpeas from Reggello, saffron from San Gimignano, onions from Certaldo, steaks from Agricola San Felice Farm. Our guests can pick a tasting wine from our wine list, witch is particularly rich of Tuscan and Italian esteemed wines. The room and the service will satisfy a demanding clientele. The Poggio Rosso Restaurant, closed to two ancient chapels, is also an ideal location for classy weddings and ceremonies. Come and visit us in the heart of Chianti Classico.

Limited menu but excellent food.
You won't find any red sauce here but you will enjoy mushrooms, veal, pork or beef. All vegetables are local to the area and delicious.

We had a very memorable dinner at Poggio Rosso on our first night staying at Borgo San Felice. Very tasty food, excellent service, live piano music, sitting outside was a treat, and wonderful wines.

We had lunch at Poggio Rosso, and what a beautiful setting it is, with matriculate attention to detail, both in the restaurant and the hotel/resort it is part of. The service was very professional and courteous and you are offered to taste the wines before deciding, most of which are from their own winery. The food was good, but not great, and even if you disregard the high price they charge for eating at a 5 star hotel, you can find much better restaurants in the local area. All in all, great location and service but average cuisine, and with the price taken into account it's 3 stars in my book.

Perfect atmosphere food and wine with a great piano player. Staff very welcoming except the fat manager that was very rude with us.

Lovely relaxed room in a great setting. We were staying at the hotel, and decided to make it the first night meal. The food was good, but tried too hard to be innovative. It did not highlight the simplicity of Tuscan food as it should.
