We had the yellow apartment, so we could not profit of the "town view" (only in the other apartment) and it was a bit dark inside, but otherwise everything was perfectly correct : very clean and big apartment which has probably been recently refitted, fully equipped, welcome gifts and "local help list" from the owner, very quiet room, air conditioning, easy to park the car even in the august, ...
Concerning the situation in Noto, the apartment is just at the beginning of the upper district, three streets up the main street (Corso Vittorio Emmanuele). You need to walk up when you come back at night, but it's a short walk.

We loved our week in this elegant and spacious apartment with a balcony perfect for viewing the beautiful baroque city over an evening drink. We took the one bedroom, one bathroom option. Livia was a thoughtful and generous host and sent us to very special and reasonably priced restaurants which we might otherwise not have found. If you want to eat at home the kitchen is well equipped. The apartment is in the old city but just above the area where the bus loads come in so very quiet. There is a small supermarket, pharmacy and fruit shop just around the corner so easy to stock up. The town is great for wandering on foot but with a car to explore the region you really need a satnav as you can get very lost in Noto because of the one ways. Don't have a big car as the streets are narrow. Stay longer than a week if you can as there are masses of places to visit by car. Oh yes, good wifi.
With another couple, Shirley and I spent a great week in Noto at Livia's town house apartments. Being good friends we shared our meals and evening drinks together but if required the two apartments could be kept quite independent. The rooms were roomy and the facilities excellent. Livia was a warm and obliging host.
Noto itself is a fascinating town which we enjoyed exploring together with the many other places of interest in the area.
All in all a hearty recommendation
