The apartment is on the first and mezzanine floors of an old palazzo about 500m horizontally and 60m vertically from the main street in Noto. It is a steep walk. I believe that the apartment has been recently renovated and has only just started being let. That means that everything is new (October 2017), but there are still some teething issues. We could not get the hot water to work properly and got about 2 hot showers each morning before it ran out. Not great when there are 4 of us. It could also do with more than 2 wine glasses.
The interior design is very stylish (I understand that is the field of work of the owner). Probably not suitable for small children, given the hard surfaces, breakable things and lack of outside space.
The owner, Samuele, was very helpful, even if the plumber did not manage to fix the hot water. We had originally booked Casa San Domenico, but that became unavailable and so we accepted Belvedere as a substitute, even though it is rather smaller.
