My wife and I rented Merci San Teodoro for a week's stay in September and it could not have been better. The apartment is a little way out of the beautiful town of San Teodoro, roughly five minutes drive, but with a number of shops and bars quite a bit closer. It's easy to get to, about fifteen minutes drive from Olbia, but I would strongly advise you rent a car, this is not really an apartment for those without some form of transport. There's plenty of space with two bedrooms, a living room/kitchen (the latter being well-equipped for most holiday needs) and a gorgeous patio where we spent most of our time. Although the house is near to the road, you wouldn't really know it and come night fall it's the most peaceful and relaxing place to spend your time. Everything you could need is provided with comfortable furniture, air conditioning, a TV and plenty of useful equipment in the kitchen and it's simply an easy and comfortable place from which to explore Sardinia.
With regards to Sardinia itself, my wife and I had not been before, but we will certainly go again. It is an earthly paradise with the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen, incredibly friendly people and plenty to do whether you like clubbing all night or visiting cultural sites. I can't imagine a better place to spend a week and if you're able to go a little out of season, as we did, then you'll also find it relatively peaceful. Don't leave it too long, however, as most things seem to close after September.
Although the villa is owned by Carla (who's very helpful and attentive) you're most likely to actually meet Rita or her husband when you pick up the keys. Whoever you are in contact with, however, you'll find them to be very friendly and absolutely helpful.
In short, Merci San Teodoro is a wonderful place to stay. You're close to some of the best towns and beaches in Sardinia, the villa is beautiful and the owners courteous and helpful, what's not to like?

Perfect little villa for my stay in Sardinia. The Villa is next to a main road but is set back enough so you don't really notice this. The Villa is lovely, clean, nicely kept and with all modern equipment. Wifi would be great to have but didn't really cause any problems. 5 mins drive into San Teodoro and the location is perfect as in between all beautiful beaches and the main town. Would definitely go back and would recommend this place to stay.
