A wonderful location with its troglodyte pool and rooms. Yannick and his wife did everything to support us and help us with recommendations and food and drinks.

Quirky, unusual, unique. All these words apply to this accommodation. We stayed for one night on our journey south from St. Malo. For us it was a perfect stopping point. Enough driving for our first day in France and time to sample one of the many Château in the area. Yannick, the host, spoke good English, was very friendly and helpful and made the stay very relaxing.
Some points you may find helpful. The drive into the parking area has a narrow point to get through, we have a reasonably big car and it did squeeze through, if you’re not confident you can park and walk the extra distance.
The accomodation is fascinating and comfortable, but by nature can feel a little dark and claustrophobic, any more than two nights would have been too much for us.
We stayed on a Sunday, the village is pleasant and a short pleasant walk away but not much open. I would advise to ask Yannick to reserve a table in advance if you wish to eat locally,

We had a wonderful stay in the family suite. It was fascinating. The suite had everything we needed. It’s not a luxury setting as it’s in a cave, but it’s a very interesting experience. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is well appointed.
We had to step outside the room to get Wi Fi but that’s part of the experience. Breakfast was very nice & the host was very welcoming & helpful. The people we met staying at the the hotel were interesting people looking for something a bit different. We loved our stay.

We loved this interesting hotel. Yannick our host was probably the best host we have ever had anywhere in the world. He was so friendly and gave excellent advice for local restaurants and attractions.

Stayed one night here on the way back to UK from Spain. Welcoming and helpful staff (also booked a restaurant for us in the evening), quaint suite on two floors with own private terrace. We had a key to access the underground swimming pool which we used late in the evening - nicely heated! A very lovely stay, with some of the rooms built into the surrounding caves and right next to a vineyard which you can walk across to from the hotel and do some wine tasting and buying! Hope to return for a longer stay in the future.

Room tip: Make sure you have a torch/light if you go out in the dark to the village as no street lights late at night!
