Location is great. Rooms are really nice as well (double) but the wifi is absolute crap. It's very expensive with no data included and constantly disconnects. On top of that they seem to be blocking photo backups with google photos and icloud.

The water cooker in our room was absolutely disgusting. Staff were friendly but not very helpful. Can't recommend for this price.

We stayed in a private twin as part of the Kiwi Experience.

This place is at the edge of the lake away from town along the lake and takes about 15 mins to walk there. There's no amenities right beside this place.

It's a quiet spot with a mixture of campers and backpackers. It's communal kitchen is disappointingly small but has great views of the lake.

Our room was so hot during the day with no air-conditioning. It's an outdoor modern cabin, just big enough for two beds and two chairs. It had its own outdoor bench and was a pretty cool little cabin. At night it did get much cooler and was pleasant to sleep in, away from the noise of the dorm rooms.

I stayed in a glamping tent (a big fancy tent with 4 beds inside) and it was great! The bed was clean and very comfy. The rain was very noisy at night but don't worry it's not like camping- I was still very warm and dry thanks to the blankets!!

The wifi costs around $2NZD and was still very slow and unreliable at best. Also the kitchen was dirty and too crowded with not enough facilities. The staff were so helpful and nice. Also the location is ace!! Right in front of Lake Tekapo and near the amazing MT JOHN Hiking track!

The staff is really friendly and helpful. The facilities are excellent and modern, and the bed in the glamping tent was good. Location is great as well - right at the lake and between the village and the walking route to the observatory.

Very nice staff and well organized place right at the lake! Definitely recommendable! Moreover, it was very good value for money! The only kind of annoying thing was that they charge to use the wifi...
