The only vineyard and producing winery on the Tamborine Mountain, Witches Falls Winery is the perfect cellar door to visit. You can see the wine vats behind the tasting room itself through glass windows. It's also a gorgeous spot for a picnic. Very pretty and some great wines of course too!

My wife and I visited as part of a group from a cruise ship in Brisbane. It is a pretty long 90+ minute drive from Brisbane and the winery visit was unremarkable. A tasting of five wines was offered but, atypically, there was no bread or cheese to provide a palette break nor water to wash out the glasses between wines. The wines themselves were a pretty broad selection from sharp to sweet in taste, white to red in color, and light to pretty full in body. For the taste of many the Merlot was the standout! Judging by the size of the attached vineyard the in house wines must be prepared either from contract purchased grapes or from owned, remote vineyards. A very casual presentation without any non-wine product offerings typical of a tasting winery. Worth a visit if in the area but barely worth a drive from Brisbane.

Did a wine tasting at AUD6 per person. Personally I enjoy the Shiraz and bought 2 bottles. Staff gladly waived off the tasting fees with purchase.

I'd just come from a disappointing experience up the road, so thought I'd stop here. Not that busy - though there were a couple being served wine tasting. No one even acknowledged me. I pottered around but there's only so much you can do in a small place waiting for a tasting. I thought there would be a café/restaurant aswell, or at least more staff. No one seemed bothered about me so I took myself off....disappointed.
