We happened to be at the Finca Adalgisa during the harvest time, which was a special treat. Their onsite asado dinner was terrific, but a bit pricey. The wine and tapas each evening in the lounge was such a very nice and much appreciated touch. We really enjoyed being in Chacras de Coria rather than being in the city of Mendoza. There are plenty of convenient restaurants very close/walking distance, and we loved the “village” feel. The owner is regularly onsite and welcoming. Their initial records had the room set for twin beds, but that was easily handled once we arrived. We were in a room in the old house.

We checked in with the excellent receptionist and she took us to our room, a windowless aerie with creaking floors that practically screamed in agony when you walked on them.

Our room was in an old part of the resort, one of two very old rooms that faced the street. I asked about moving to another room, but was told nothing was available, so we toughed it out.

The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable, but when you walked into the bathroom the ancient floor boards creaked as if they were about to collapse. The room was claustrophobic because there were no windows, save a small skylight in the bathroom and two small glass slits on either side of the bathroom sink.

Basically, these rooms should not be rented out to quests as the other rooms in the hotel look really nice and luxurious in comparison to the hovel we were placed in. Definitely a bummer considering the money we spent.

That said, the staff was terrific, friendly and helpful. I'd like to give them another shot, but to reiterate the room we were given was completely substandard and should only be rented out with a disclosure and a significant price reduction so they cost no more than $125USD.

I attended a conference in Mendoza. Hotel prices in the city were absurd ad i found Finca Adelgisa. while the place is between 15 to 20 minutes drive from downtown Mendoza I found it totally worth it. this is a ahouse with some beautifully decorated rooms that have all the hotel amenities. The rain shower is delicious and rooms have a beautiful fire place. come here to relax at the pool, or just to unwind with their great Malbec after a long day of work. do not come here to watch tv , bring your books, walk through the property, watch the birds, relax at the pool

While this is no business hotel it is definitely a unique beautiful experience if you want to relax.

The place is tastefully decorated and the tapas bar serves their own olives and great appetizer of the day. Breakfast is included in the price.

the staff is very friendly.

Couple of suggestions , taxis are available but better to request them the day before . there are free bike if you want to explore. the tapas restaurant is only open at night. there are options for food on a walking distance. during th eweekend there might be a noisy party in the surrounding town (that happened to me Saturday)

We spent 5 nights here in the smaller town of Lujan next to Mendoza and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. From the moment we were welcomed by Consuela and Gabriella we were made to feel like this was our home away from home. The entire grounds, surrounded by grapevines within the secured gated compound, are impeccable and the pool area was especially clean, with plenty of umbrellas and places to sit. Gaston and Macarena greeted us every morning to take our breakfast orders in addition to the healthy buffet offered. They’re also excellent baristas!

And after a full day of wine tasting and a multi-course lunch what could be better than relaxing in the beautiful spacious lounge area with a complimentary glass of wine and tapas, offered nightly. The young waiter tending these evenings should also be commended, especially for his fluency in English.

The inn is situated near many restaurants and shops and a 5-minute stroll to the picturesque Plaza for coffee or a meal was super easy.

Room Tip: Can recommend the upstairs room with its own private terrace
