I dont usually post reviews but its such a pitty with this place. nice position and ambient and you expect only the best to come bur recieve very average food and slow service. The staff is ok, though some could smile more but i think this is the owners fault. should have a new cook and more motivated staff. too bad!

Thank Urban J

Amazing location, by the Adriatic sea. You can feel that you are in the castle, enjoy great food and beautiful scenery. They have a huge yard with a lot of staff for children to discover – so you can have even some moments of piece for yourself  My son, which is not eating practically anything, admires there so much huge shrimps (na zaru- 14 euros). I liked a lot fish soup (4.5) euros and squid

My boyfriend and I stayed in a lovely room with high ceilings, an updated bathroom, a terrific veranda and traditional Mediterranean decor. The staff spoke English well and were very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was very good: breads, cheeses, meats, orange juice, tea, coffee. The view from the private veranda and the breakfast area were beautiful. We also appreciated the flowers throughout the property.

in spite of a beautiful location, with views of the Adriatic the place doesn't take advantage of the pureness of the sea.

yes, they serve seafood, and by the boat full, but the food misses inspiration...same, run-of-the-mill, tried and tested preparations with zero innovation...not saying that the food tastes bad or anything of that sort, but it just misses on being different.

what we ate wasn't too bad, and it was decent value-for-money as well --

salted anchovies + scallops au gratin as starter; better anchovies in Fritolin in Portorož for sure... scallops was quite good.

for main, we ordered the 'special' grill of fishes -- fish, prawns, squids and mussels -- well grilled, good portion and decently tasting... could be better seasoned for sure....the potatoes were BAD!

overall, again not too bad though.

cost for two: 2 starters + 1 main for 2 + bread and small snack 'on the house' -- EUR 47.
