A big "thank you" to all the people who made our stay something special, a good base for visiting Tuscany: San Gimignano, Lucca, Notolini Aqueduct, Ponte Maddelena, Barga, Gardens of Garzoni and Leonini, Pinoccio Park, Volterra, Spa of Sasso, narrowest street of Castelnuovo, the valley of the Cypresses, Sienna, Florence, Greve in Chianti, Panzano, Radda, winetastings, ....

We booked for one night whilst touring Tuscany and loved Villa San Luchesse so much that we managed to get a second night. Sadly we had to find another Villa for our third night but were thrilled when we could return for another three nights.
Many many thanks to Lorenzo on reception who gave us so much advise and went to so much trouble to make our stay so special.
One night we ate at a nearby restaurant and the lovely gentleman on reception when asked by us to arrange a taxi, found it to be a ridiculous price- so arranged for a member of staff to collect us. Our lovely driver refused point blank to accept a payment from us.
Lucia’s omelettes and scrambled eggs were just perfect and her lovely cakes scrumptious.
We really loved our stay and are so grateful to all the lovely staff who made us so very very welcome.
We will certainly return.

Best place to stay in Tuscany! The rooms are very sizeable with very comfortable beds and bedding. Plenty of closet space. The hotel overlooks the vineyards and is very picturesque. Great recommendations for day trips and places to eat were efficiently explained to us with map print outs. Marco the manager really made our trip special!

If your in the area and need a room don't look any further. The Lucchese Hotel is a must stay. The Service, facilities, resturant, area, grounds, quietness, breakfast and pool were top notch. This is a family hotel with an amazing view. Hotel staff were the best. They made you feel special. 20 minutes from the highway but worth the drive. Catholic Church right next door. I can't say enough good things about this place.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Wonderful gentleman behind the desk. Was very helpful by giving us a show around the place and very helpful with directions. Had a beautiful room and everything was very clean. The breakfast in the morning was good with eggs and omelets if you like. There also is a beautiful view from the patio. If we ever have the chance to return we will stay here again for sure.
