We had a delicious lunch at this lovely restaurant in picturesque Pitigliano
Set in a tiny courtyard in this amazing ancient city, tucked away down one of the very narrow streets. Our starter(unusually)was a selection of cheeses with honey, which we luckily had decided to share...... when it arrived it was quite a large portion, certainly enough for two.
We followed that with a plate of homemade pasta each, both were hand made. One with a Wild Boar Ragu Sauce and the other was Ravioli with a ricotta filling set on a Tomato and Aubergine sauce.
Dessert was light and creamy strawberry served with some berries.
Everything was delicious and all of the dishes beautifully presented.
All this was washed down with a bottle of white wine grown by the Vineyard where we are staying. The Colle Massari. We were well served and had a very enjoyable 2 hr Sunday lunch there. We would definitely come back again.
