Tried Sette do Vino for a quick lunch and it was very welcoming. The owner tried very hard to give us good descriptions in English of most menu items, suggesting the daily zuppe di fagioli and crostini to share. Although he told us the zuppe was the same as ribollita, which it clearly is not, we ordered it anyway and it was delicious. The half portions were hearty and filling, much like a split pea soup but with beans not as mushy. The crostini, with 4 pieces of toast with toppings, was also very good. We could have ordered more, but it was certainly sufficient for quick bite to keep is till dinner. Glad we finally had the chance to try out this resto.

Enjoyed a truly Tuscan meal punctuated by an assortment of crostini to lovely bean soup. The house wine was worthy of two orders which naturally enhanced the entire experience. Luciano is relentless in insuring that you thoroughly enjoy your evening. There was a lineup for tables ( we were glad we made reservations ) but we never felt rushed. The patrons waiting are provided with complimentary wine as they wait. Overall this served as a highly enjoyable dining experience

This is one of those places people either love or hate. The hardworking owner runs the "show" and the best way to enjoy this place is let him take control and suggest options. A range of bruschetta keep coming, the bean soup is very good as is the small grilled pork sausage. Good local red wine and an interesting lardo dish. No pasta offered but may be on the menu. Tip: small set up so bookin a table is recommended.

Looking for fresh light fare this is the spot. I ordered the bean soup, delightful and filling. We also ordered melon with prosciutto that was scrumptious and refreshing. The place was busy but we were able to get a small table inside. The service was friendly and welcoming.

The vibe of the place is worthy a visit. Luciano is per se a character with his generous hospitality and his great half english-Italian explanations. Everything we tried was simple, good quality and very well prepare. Exceptional the artichokes and the pecorino with lardo. The crostini with mushrooms were really good! We enjoy every minute at Sette di Vini.
I'd recommend you to go but not with high expectations, just to enjoy.
