My husband and I recently traveled to Italy for our honeymoon. With stops in Rome, Cinque Terre and Bellagio, our stay at Sant'Anna in Camprena was my absolute favorite. From the moment we checked in, we were welcomed with open arms, and equipped with a bottle of wine and olives -- perfect after a long day of driving, and even more perfect as we enjoyed the breathtaking views from our outdoor patio.
I found Sant'Anna in Camprena to be based in the ideal location -- perfect for exploring. During our days there, we explored Cortona, Montepulciano, Montalcino and Siena. The hotel was extremely clean. We were fortunate enough to enjoy dinner (cooked by the hotel's staff) two of our three nights there, and as the other reviews dictate, if given the opportunity, you MUST partake. The food was absolutely delicious, and felt like a true Tuscan dining experience.
The question for us is not if we will ever go back to Sant'Anna in Camprena -- it's when will we go back?More
