Agriturismo Sant'Anna in Camprena is not only a great place to stay if you want to experience one of the most beautiful parts of Tuscany but also a perfect place to get married! We celebrated our welcome evening with approx. 150 people in the beautiful garden surrounded by lemon trees ... Ornella was a wonderful host who organised not only the accomodation for 70 of our guests but also a dinner with delicious antipasti, three different kinds of homemade pasta and fabulous wine. The unforgettable night ended in a big party in the limonaia of the monastry. The next day, we had our marriage ceremony in the stunning chuch located inside the monastry. Sant'Anna stands out due to its stunning views over the surrounding countryside, its very friendly and helpful staff, especially Ornella, its relaxing atmosphere and its original architecture. If you plan to get married in Tuscany, call Ornella and she will help you to organize your perfect wedding!

My wife and I booked S. Anna in Camprena primarily due to the reviews on Tripadvisor;
We stayed here for one week and it was simply fantastic.
The Monastery is wonderful, with a nice relaxing atmosphere and with a stunning views over the surronding countryside. It is also in an exellent location, only 5 mins from Pienza.
At last the food was outstanding and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
We have never written a review of a hotel before but our stay in S. Anna in Camprena was so good that we felt we had do.
We would definitely recommend this paradise to anyone stayng in Val d'Orcia.
You won't be disappointed;

we stayed at S. Anna in Camprena for three nights at the end of september and couldn't have asked for a more perfect start to our honeymoon. The property is well located close to Pienza, Montepulciano, Bagno Vignoni and other charming nearby towns that offer an experience of Toscana.
Ornella was a generous host and we thank her for helping to make our stay so memorable. Nothing was too much trouble until the moment we left. However the thing we will perhaps remember most of all is the stunning cuisine. Every dinner was exellent plenty of delicious food and re wine. It is only a shame we couldn't fit more in our suitcases!
we couldn't recommend S. Anna in Camprena enough.

Sant'Anna is an agriturismo based on a converted monastery and located about 10 km from the Tuscan town of Pienza. The monastery's original rustic architecture and grounds are preserved, complete with vantages of many miles over the surrounding Tuscan countryside. The rooms are comfortable, clean, minimalist, and peaceful. My wife & I especially enjoyed the fact that no rooms have TVs, radios, or telephones. Even though it is no longer a religious institution, the atmosphere feels quiet and almost reverent-- a perfect retreat providing introspective peace and quiet as well as a home base for exploring Tuscany. Plenty of free parking. No WiFi. Breakfast (included in the price of the room) is served in a communal dining room, converted from the eating rooms used by the monks of the monastery. Very clean facility. Bedroom mattresses & en-suite bathrooms are modern. As of October 2010, you can also join other guests for dinner on-site for 20 euros per person. Sant'Anna produces and bottles fine olive oil (hence the designation "Agriturismo")

Our visit at Sant'Anna in Camprena was one of the highlights of our trip.
The Abbey itself is worth a visit . The history and murals are significant.
It was serene,comfortable and Norella was a wonderful hostess.
Breakfast was very good but dinner was memorable.
It is located close to many hilltowns and would be a good base to return to each night.
I recommend this as a wonderful retreat.
