We spent 4 nights here in july. Nice rooms with aircon, good breakfast, Nice pool although somewhat busy as it's used by the Italians in the neighbourhood. But they mostly occupy the loungers and don't really swim so not really an issue. They are quite strict on closing time 7 Pm however which is not so Nice if you actually stay there.
We went to Pienza, really Nice surprise with the battistero and the really beautiful silver altar. We drove to Florence and parked at the parking alongside the inner city wall near Palazzo pitti. This went really quite Well, plenty of space, affordable, and within walking distance of all the sights since Florence is not really that big.
Gufaia doesn't have a restaurant but there's plenty of good ones in carmignano and surrounding area. Would recommend and would come back!More
