Even though Asciano is not a particularly worth while visiting town, this hotel is very well located on a beautiful setting and 40 minutes drive to Montepulciano and Montalcino (Val D'orca).
We had dinner in the hotel and it was just outstanding, not so much for the food (which was actually pretty good ) but because of the view.
Service was very good and pool was just fine. Breakfast was not something special but ok.
Would definitely come back. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

Just an amazing, breathtaking view!!! We arrived a bit earlier, which was great as we could choose the best table with a stunning view.
Sunset on the hills was a true experience.
Very nice food, for gourmets. Try the aubergine millefoglie, delicious.
Highly recommended

We attended a wedding reception at the Castello. It is a beautiful setting and it was lovely to sit in the courtyard for the reception. The Castello and surroundings would make a stunning backdrop for the photos. They have a marquee for eating and that is really pretty too. The hotel would make a good stop over for a driving tour of Tuscany or just a quiet place to relax for a few days. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were comfortable. We had a lovely time.

Room tip: All the rooms are quiet and comfortable.

This place is just amazing, we stayed there for 3 days with a toddler. The rooms are very clean and the staff is just as helpful as it gets. I give this place a 5 star rating overall. There has not been one thing that was wrong with it. Some may complain about Wifi but remember that your are in Tuscany for the scenery and not to surf online(Btw i am in the IT industry and was able to stay offline).
The location is perfect it has all what we think of when someone talks about Tuscany.
The is quite a bit to do and see within an hours drive. Please note that you will need a car to get around.

I really booked the hotel for its location so that all the places I wanted to visit in Tuscany were within an hour's drive. However when I arrived I realised that this was a place that also deserved to be listed as a place to see. The old castle has been beautifully restored and the views are magnificent.

Very quiet and casual and very helpful and attentive staff.

Room tip: De Luxe rooms are worth the money.
