Great friendly welcome, even though we arrived after the restaurant had closed there was still a cold plate waiting for us, plus the first of many fantastic puddings.

The room was large, comfortable and quiet and cleaned every day.

Plenty of choice for breakfast.
The Pre-starter buffet for the evening meal was huge, I could have eaten just off that easily, But we had a choice of starters after that, a choice of main course and a choice of puddings. felt embarrassed when I had to leave food on the plate because I couldn't finish it all.

One evening there were no choices as they have a Galla evening of local dishes - what a spectacle.

All staff were friendly and helpful.

Bus stop outside hotel next door to take us to the sport hotel where we hired a locker for our skis and boots £10 per person with the hotel discount. We walked the rest of the week, good warm up before skiing, just 5 minutes away. Then pick up skis and walk 3 minutes to the first lift. We usually stay in a ski in ski out hotel so this was a bit of a bind, but not too bad.

As a timid intermediate skier I was happy in the resort, my companions were more adventurous, but still enjoyed. Those used to skiing blacks might be a bit disappointed.

Stayed In Hotel in the evenings so can't comment on the adores skiing scene.

We hope to go back next year with a larger group, and would certainly stay in this hotel

This is my second trip to the hotel and once again I wasn't disappointed. Mike was extremely helpful assisting me with some of the travel logistics and gave great advice prior to the trip re airport transfers, ski-hire..etc. The food at the hotel is probably where it scores highest, at the end of a days skiing there was always a great selection of traditional Italian food to sample. We stayed in a family room for 4, it was more than big enough with a good shower and was kept very clean by the hotel staff. As most reviewers say, the best thing about this hotel is the friendly nature of Mike and the team who make you feel really welcome. Thanks again for a great trip and we hope to see you again in the future.

Room tip: Family rooms are a good size and easily accommodate 4 people with ski-gear..etc.

Nice structure with very helpfull and kind owners. Located on the "outskirts" of the village it is pleasantly quiet, but still conveniently located in relation to shops, restaurants and ski slopes.
Double room and bathroom were clean, spacious and with all necessary fittings. Nice and wide choice for b'fast, plenty of excellent food at dinner.
Only complaints are the Wi-Fi at cost and the lack of at least a sauna, a jacuzzi and a relax area to enjoy after a nice day on the slopes.

Enjoyed our stay so much last year, we returned again and were not disappointed! Indeed Mike and Betty go the extra metre to ensure their guests are happy, employing attentive and friendly front and back of house staff. We even met other returners who had come back for same reasons.
Passo is a great resort for beginners and improvers, with accessible and well equipped ski facilities. Our favourite run was Contrabandierri - stretching but not overpowering, with great views!

Second visit to Tonale, first time at the Adamello.

The photos don't do justice to this fabulous family run family hotel.
Spotless rooms, great service from all the staff, fabulous Italian food, good location, cosy peaceful bar, kids play area well away from the adults....I could go on.

The whole place just makes you feel welcomed.

If we come back to Tonale we will definitely be staying here again!
