I stayed with my husband at Tenuta Cusmano for 5 days in April.

We had a very nice holiday at the premises of Maurizio, and this already for the 3rd time over the last few years. Maurizio is a very nice person and would really do anything to make your holiday a success. The venue is great and peaceful with a stunning view over the city of Rome, the ideal place to take a break and spend some time together. In the morning, a nice breakfast with fresh and home made delicious pancakes with lemon is waiting for you.
The location is fantastic and ideal to start visiting the rich historical region, and to explore the nice countryside with very good restaurants and a nice refreshment in the afternoon at a local "gelateria"!!
Thanks again Maurizio for everything and we will certainly come back to your marvellous place.

It was already the third time my wife and I visited Tenuta Cusmano these last three years and we will be coming back to this splendid place.

Perfectly located on the hills just outside Rome, Tenuta Cusmano offers breathtaking views on the city of Rome and Castelgandolfo, you can even see the seaside at the horizon! Grottaferrata, with a number of excellent restaurants, is only a short drive away. Tenuta Cusmano is also the perfect starting point for your visits of Rome, Tivoli, the Colli Romani, Subiaco, Ostia Antica and Palestrina.

Tenuta Cusmano is a large villa offering nine rooms with large balconies. The swimming pool is one of the best I’ve ever seen on my many holiday destinations.

If there’s one thing that makes this place standing out of the rest, it surely is the divine hospitality of its owner, Maurizio! He’s always there to assist you with whatever request. His suggestions for nice restaurants or interesting destinations for day trips are always spot on. Every detail is thought of and he’s unbeatable in his attempts to assess what you’re really looking for.

The cappuccini at breakfast are great. Try also the lemon pancake from Gene! My wife adores these pancakes.

This is a fabulous holiday destination if you’re looking to avoid the crowdy and hot city centre of Rome, but want to keep the fabulous ancient Roman sites and beautiful museums within reach.

Great address!

Our second holiday in Tenuta Cusmano. This time our honeymoon :)
Tenuta Cusmano is the choice if you want to have a relaxing quality time and romantic stay in Italy. We loved the atmosphere and the poolside and of course the overwhelming service by Maurizio. The quiet and easy breakfast was great. We mostly dined at the nearest restaurant La Cavola D’oro and loved the food and service there. We recommend caprese, tortelloni and tiramisu. We walked each day 1.5 km to the city center to have a nice cup of coffee and Italian tapas in Eden Cafe. And of course some ice cream near Ristorante Da Valerio which is also a nice choice for dinner. It's easy to visit Rome by first walking 3.5km to Frascati and then taking the train to Termini station. We walked about 20km in Rome so we took a taxi from Frascati back to the hotel
We give Tenuta Cusmano 5 because you cannot give 6 :)

We had spent three and a half days in busy Rome seeing all the world class historical sites and were wanting a peaceful, quiet relaxing place for our next week stay. Online Tenuta Cusmano looked to be just the place for us and it didn't disappoint! Located in a hilly area southwest of Rome, with magnificent views overlooking beautiful vineyards and distant views of small area towns, including Rome in the distance, it was perfect for us. And Maurizio the manager couldn't be more helpful and accommodating, with suggestions and maps for places of interest in the area. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. Highly recommend Tenuta Cusmano as a beautiful, serene get-a-way from hectic Rome and ideal location for experiencing nearby small town real Italian life and culture. It was the perfect balance we were looking for and helped to make our 50th anniversary trip, the trip of a life-time!

We spent the month of Sept 2017 and visited Italy by car. Back in 2014, we were also in Italy for a month and stayed at Tenuta Cusmano on 3 separate occasions during the month using this villa as ground zero, a place in between trips, and easy access to and from the airport. This year we did the same, but decided to spend the last week at Tenuta Cusmano, and focus on Rome and surroundings. Great location, priceless quiet Italian country setting, beautiful, very clean and comfortable, relaxing villa/resort, and the unmatched personalized services of a great friendly host, Maurizio Cusmano. A bonus at Tenuta Cusmano (beside the great breakfast!) is Maurizio's great personality and suggestions and advice on sites to discover in the area. It was so easy to take the 30 min. train ride to Rome from Frascati, which is only 20mins from the villa by car. Again, this year we find ourselves very lucky that we discovered this gem, and look forward to our next visit in a few years. Well done Maurizio!!
