A very Nice little hotel with a beautiful view from the roof terrace, where I had my room. A Nice couple who treat their guests very well. You feel you been taking care of! I felt very safe, living here alone. Want to come back here!

The family-run hotel is within a few minutes walking distance uphill from the harbour in Pythagorion. The area is marked by winding small roads, flowery gardens and balconys and well preserved houses. You cannot park in front of the hotel, but may be lucky at the small car park at the beginning of the road.

The hotel is very clean, the rooms are kept simple, but functional and very clean. The mattresses were firm and I loved our balcony with a view over the harbour and the mountains. I loved our room in white and light blue! The bathroom is not the newest, but functional and also very clean! If needed, the room is equipped with aircon, which we luckily did not have to try.

The owners are very friendly and made us feel home and very welcomed. They prepared breakfast every morning served on the spacy roof terrace with the same awesome view over the harbour. The breakfast is arranged lovely on plates and varies every morning (bread, butter and jam, olives and some vegetables to knibble on, sometimes cheese and cold meats or eggs instead, Greek joghurt with honey; juices and hot drinks can be taken from the bar). Personally, I would have loved to choose every morning, especially to avoid leaving food on the plate. Also, more fresh or homemade stuff (such as fresh fruits and juices or home made jam) would have given it more edge, although the price should be raised then.

You cannot pay by card, but that is indicated everywhere and beforehand. There is also a big book shelf of left behind books in many languages. If needed, there is a large well-equipped kitchen which can be used by the guests.

I fell in love with Pythagorion, as it is laid back, offers excellent restaurants and cafes, some lovely shops and a tranquil beach. The people were so friendly and everything can be reached without a car. I will defintely come back to Samos, Pythagorion and the Remezzo!

We amended our travel plans based around the warm hospitality offered at this delightful hotel. The hosts, Lia and Vangelis, were kind, informative and extremely welcoming. The rooms were modest but had all the necessary requirements (wi-fi, fridge, air conditioner, tv etc.) plus great views of the harbour. The breakfast rooftop terrace is a beautiful place to start the day. The hotel is a very short walk to all the restaurants, bars and shops at a the port with just a slight incline back up the hill to burn off all those calories from the magnificent food we had eaten. Also walking distance to major attractions including the archeological museum, the Tower of Logothetis and the beautiful ancient church. We are already planning our return to this 'home away from home'.

Room Tip: For harbour views request 2nd floor rooms or 1st floor (Poseidon).

Lea and Vangelis welcomed us with smiles and a cold orange juice on a hot day. We knew we were in a lovely place the minute we arrived. The rooms were clean, airy with a sea view. It had a safe,a fridge and air-conditioning - everything you might need. Very comfortable. The views from the terrace were fantastic. Our breakfast was freshly cooked..a zucchini omelette with dil and home made mint tea and all served by Lia and Vangelis who have owned Remezzo for 25 years.

It is great value for money with wonderful service and gorgeous views. We plan to return for longer next year.
