My boyfriend and I stayed here from 25th September to 2nd October. We had amazing weather for the whole week with it being in the 30s every day. The pool and bar areas were clean and offered a wide range of food and drinks. The staff were always helpful and very friendly with the hotel having themed nights including Greek night which had fabulous food and the greek dancing was fun. The hill is steep and I don't think any photo can show just how steep part of it is. We didn't think our coach was going to make it up when we first arrived. Walking down is no problem but walking up in the heat can be a struggle according to my boyfriend as I never did walk up. We always got a taxi 5 euros or if you buy shopping from the 2 local supermarkets they will drive you back up. All I can say is that the views and the sunset really make up for the hill. You could see for miles from our apartment including the sea. We had an amazing time and would go back tomorrow if we could. Only small issue was the couple of cats which I hate. It wasn't just the hotel that had cats a couple of the restaurants did also which is a huge no no for me. They didn't cause to much of a problem I guess I just really don't like them hanging around whilst I'm eating. We would like to thank all the staff at the hotel for truely making our holiday one we will never forget.

Wonderfull views and well kept. Very nice pool area etc. and very welcoming. Forget about the hill, surely everyone is aware and either hire a car or make other arrangements! The photos are a fairly accurate representation of what is on offer.
On the slightly down side, we booked 2 x Superior 1's and 1 x Superior 2. They were perfectly adequate but we booked direct and thought that they were very overpriced for the standard of accomodation (total of 1,764 euros for a week). All was slightly faded and there was no shade or respite from the sun on the (large) balcony area.
They are obviously doing something right based on the reviews (which were influential on our choice) but from a purely personal point of view, in future it will be a villa again for us based on quality of accomodation and value for money.

Dear Guest,

As the Guest Relations Manager of Dionysos Village Resort, I would like to thank you for your feedback regarding your stay at our property.

We are very happy to hear that your overall impression of Dionysos Village Resort was good and the negative points are also welcome.. We like to be able to identify the aspects of our services and facilities that may need improvement.

I am sorry if you feel that the price was steep for a family of 7. We remember your family very well and enjoyed your company at the BBQ and Hollis night.

It is our commitment and primary concern that every year Dionysos Village Resort take actions for improvements and renovations wherever needed. We are working on providing more shade on the balconies. We have natural vines that are growing in place which will provide shade and natural beauty... The property itself offers many shaded areas to offer respite from the sun.

I thank you again for taking the time to write your review and it will be our pleasure to welcome you again at Dionysos Village Resort.

Best holiday in a long time. The views were fantastic, the staff were fantastic, the food was fantasic, everything was fantastic! We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed every second. We went as a family of 4 then some of our other family came to join us for a week and said it was amazing. The food at the restaurant and at the pool bar was fabulous and very tasty. The staff were always smiling and having a laugh especially tony! ;) who we all got on really well with. There were different evening events like BBQ night, Pool parties and Rock night! they were all great.

The rooms were fantasic with your own little kitchen area. The view from our balcony was just beautiful. We could see the gorgeous sea and the city Lixouri which you could get a ferry too! We hired a Jeep for the last 2 days of our holiday and explored nearly the whole island! We saw some amazing attractions and the drive to the different places is just fantastic and the views you see are views you will not forget!
We often walked down from the hotel into the beautiful little town Lassi. There are loads of restaurants to choose from with great food and great entertainment! There are also a few beaches that you can get to in Lassi and beaches you can drive to. The hill is quite bad but not as bad as some people describe it. We didn't walk up it once because there was no need to. One of our relatives that came to stay with us ran up and down it in a morning and said it was tiring but worth it for the amazing views which is 100% true. The supermarket we went to was fab they gave us a free lift back to the hotel every time we went and sometimes a free gift. They were friendly and very kind.
The pool is clean, spacious and very well looked after. There were always sun beds free for us so you dont have to get up at ridiculous times. If you have children there is a kids pool and a games room for them.
Maria and Dennis (the owners) were fabulous! Maria let us go in the pool at Mid-night when it was really hot one day and it was fantastic all lit up!
we would definitely recommend this to anyone. We would definitely go back and are planning to next year (2013)
One of the best holidays ever!!!!

Stayed at Dionysos 2nd Sept for 10 nights. We knew about the steep hill but WOW without the hill you wouldn't get the best view in Lassi. From the moment we a
rrived we fell in love with the place. We were greeted with open arms by Maria who we knew from our previous stay at San Lorenzo Village, we were introduced to the owners Maria and Dennis who were the most kindest warm people we have ever met. Their army of staff are a credit to them Effi the evening bar lady kept us entertained along with Tony who caught us out with hilarious party games. Our room was lovely with ample facilities in the kitchen for self catering and a view with sunsets not to be missed. The pool area is wonderful to laze about during the long sunny days and have a delicious lunch time meal. We dined in the restaraunt one evening and it was splendid and no more expensive than in Lassi itself. The Greek night Maria and Dennis organise at the hotel is a must with great food, dancing and lots of fun, our best Greek night yet. We have been visiting Greece for 20 years and can honestly say we have found our perfect retreat. We will be returning next year, Thanks to Maria, Dennis and everyone at Dionysos
