On the end of our two weeks trip in Provence, in June 2015, we decided to spend the last three days to the seaside and we made the choise for Le Pradet specially to stay in Mas Carol.
We found not only a stylish and high comfortable house but a real property with a botanic garden, with art pieces all around and with beautiful view of the mountains and sea. A real place of leisure and retreat, for couples looking for a romantic atmosphere. Carol is the symbol of the house, a woman statue in the garden, the genuine creation of Sylvie&Andre, perfect hosts that offered us with discretion and delicacy everything we needed, starting with the breakfast on the terrace or in the garden. I still have the taste memory of those "quatre sorts de confiture"!
Le Pradet is very convenant to organise the programe for one week at least. We spent one day visiting three beaches: Monaco,Bonnette and Garrone, the closest one to Mas Carol with two nice restaurants just on the beach where we had the dinners.I remember the way through a forest to Monaco beach and our great surprise to see it almost empty in day of mid june. Other day we went to Oursinieres port to take the ferry to Porquerolles island, where we rent bikes and wondered around enjoying to find small beaches only for two of us. The best moules I have ever had , besides Cancale in Bretagne, I had in Oursinieres. I haven't managed to make kayak around Les Calanques, 1 h drive from Le Pradet, but we spent few hours in Sanary sur Mer that is lovely. So many things to do more, so many reasons to come back sometimes. All our best, Sylvie and Andre and preserve your fairytale place!

This is a special property in the hills overlooking Le Pradet with Toulon beyond. Lovely buildings, gardens and environs. The 15 minute walk down the single track lanes in the warm evenings to Le Pradet bay is just lovely. Sylvie and Andre are a delight -- welcoming and friendly and keen to recommend some great restaurants (the Bernard Restaurant has an amazing position with the sea lapping two meters from the tables and only reached on foot). The pool is gorgeous and with just 3 rooms (two of which we had in the family suite) there is always plenty of space. Breakfasts were lovely - hot drinks, orange juice, croissants or pain au chocolat, fruit (eg home grown grapes), home made breads and jams and yoghurt. The only downside was my wife is allergic to gluten which Sylvie and Andre understood but no alternatives were offered. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return and recommend for a peaceful and heavenly stay.

Room Tip: All rooms are equally good.

What a lovely place to end our holiday. Everything is beautiful and so many lovely touches - the room, the pool, the gardens, the views ... the jams! We were here for just 4 days (too short!) at the end of a fantastic 3 weeks in Provence ... but we saved the best till last. In such a short time, thanks to Sylvie's expert advice & recommendations, we were able to see so many lovely places (Fete de Fleurs in Borme-les-Mimoses; Fete de Poissons in Lavandou; Isle de Porquerolles; Port du Niel; Giens) and eat so well! (Lou Petolet & Bernard Restaurant were standouts).

Big thanks to Sylvie and Andre for such great hospitality and for giving so much of themselves to make sure we had such a fantastic stay. Highly recommended and we hope to be back someday.

We came here three years ago. It was beautiful then and if anything, it is more beautiful now, thanks to all the work Sylvie and Andre have done.
Our room was tastefully decorated. Sylvie is an accomplished artist and has an eye for these things. Andre has worked extensively on the structure of the house and garden. Our room had its own small patio, where we sat and read. It overlooked the pristine swimming pool and the slope of the wonderfully manicured gardens. We enjoyed the birdsong and the drifts of perfume from the shrubs.
Breakfast was served in a sun trap down in the garden. Sylvie and Andre gave us advice as to where best to eat dinner and made reservations for us. They could not have been more helpful.
We were able to prepare a picnic supper in the veranda. Everything is there for the guests' use right down to the glasses and the corkscrew. They even gave us use of a small kettle and cups. We Brits love our tea.
We met and chatted with co-guests at breakfast and one evening on the veranda, where we shared stories and a bottle of wine with them.
Mas Carol is more luxurious than a home from home. We felt very comfortable and were made very welcome. I do hope we shall one day have the opportunity of returning there. I can thoroughly recommend it.
