We have known this beautiful home for many years and it is as serene and beautiful as one could possibly imagine. The setting is amazing with views on to the vineyards and wonderful walks around the property. The kitchen is well appointed and the rooms all extremely comfortable and everything works (not always the case in Provence!). The caretakers, Sue and Tony, are wonderful and always there to help and answer any questions. It is very quite and secluded and wonderful peaceful but only fifteen mins from the charming village of La Garde Freinet. If we could we would live there all the time!
We had a lovely stay in October and enjoyed everything about the villa, the location and our courteous hosts, Sue and Tony. Both went over and above to ensure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. The villa is exactly as advertised, peaceful, rural and with nice views of vineyards from both the front and the back. 5bd/rm, 5 bath and suitable for large families or groups. The terrace was our favorite spot of all. The pool was not open this late in the year, but it looked like a place I would love to spend some time in warmer weather. Amenities were nice--satellite t.v., wifi, fully equipped kitchen, and the very nice touch of arriving to fresh flowers, charcuterie, coffee, milk and essentials. The fall weather was fantastic and we would happily visit Provence again in this off-season. Warm during the day, cool nights. Nice towns nearby and many, many things to do in under two hours by car--from Grasse to the Verdon Gorge to Chateauneuf du Pape/Avignon, to the beaches of Nice, Cannes, Antibes. Grimaud and St. Tropez were our favorite close-by towns (30 minutes or less in the off-season). Overall a lovely place. Highly recommend it.

Stayed here for the first time with my partners family, who for them all was their 4th stay. Ten of us stayed here and the villa was perfect. Very spacious and lovely rooms. The pool is heated and amazing, so relaxing lying here in the sun and going for a swim. The vineyards are great to walk around and full of nature. The caretakers of the property were wonderful, always helpful and they recommended some nice restaurants and places to visit. Also their 2 Labradors were fantastic, the children loved playing with them in the garden and whenever someone went for a walk they would follow. If you like peace and quiet in the middle of nowhere then this is the place to stay. The views are amazing here. Hopefully I will be back in 2017 :-)
We have stayed at Villa Le Mas three times and each time it has been a great success. The quiet location suits us very well as there are 6 children and they can play in the garden and wander in the vineyard. The swimming pool is warm and of a good size for all activities. The bedrooms are all en suite and very comfortable and the cooking facilities are excellent and include an outside gas BBQ. We ate virtually all our meals outside on the terrace, under the shady vine.
The guardian of the villa is very kind and helpful.
We've stayed at the villa on several occasions and have always been blessed by a fortnight of sunshine. The villa and the vineyard are luxurious and peaceful. The owners have always extended an exemplary courtesy and care to our family. We cannot recommend it highly enough.
