My husband and I had the best New Year's Eve of our lives at this lovely hotel. We chose this hotel due to the view of the mountains, the half-board option, and the junior suite with the amazing bathroom. We were greeted by the gracious owners for champagne before dinner. We ate like kings and queens - they had a 6 course meal that was absolutely delicious. After dinner they had music and dancing, and the bar tender made the most beautiful drinks. I had the freshest and tastiest mojito I've ever had. We were in for a shock when we decided to ring in the new year on our private balcony, and saw the most amazing fireworks show we've ever seen. The fireworks were so close that if I hadn't been drinking, I would have been afraid a spark would hit us! It was such a wonderful experience that I hope to never forget, even when I'm 95. This is a family-run hotel, and the owners were so kind and friendly. Also, our room was quiet, which is extremely important to my husband. We didn't even get a chance to visit the large pool because we were having too good of a time otherwise. We are praying we get to go back to this hotel someday, and hopefully over New Year's Eve again! If you are up in the air over choosing this hotel, I would highly recommend you do choose this one. It was one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in. We loved everything about it!

Room Tip: The Junior Suites offer the best views and most amazing bathrooms.

We stayed at the Milderer Hof between Christmas and during New Years with our entire family. This family owned hotel located in the small town of Milders situated close to the Stubai Glaicer. The scenery is absolutely stunning in winter, so summer must be just as beautiful.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly receptionist. After explaining a couple of things, she escorted us to our room. We had four rooms booked and they made sure that all rooms were next to each other. We made things for us very convenient.

The rooms are really big and cozy. They are clean and have all amenities you need when staying at a hotel with a spa in a ski area. We had plenty of towels, there is a bathrobe and a bag that you can take with tot the spa.

We stayed half-board and were never hungry. The food was always plenty. Breakfast had an amazing variety. There was always a small lunch and in the afternoon coffee and cake. And the evenings always offered different menus. The food was splendid.
We enjoyed the bar in the evenings, as there was always a really good atmosphere.

The spa area is wonderful and very well maintained. There is a nice sized pool with warm water and a hot tub. The sauna area is also very nice but the quiet area can get crowed at times.

We stayed here for New Years and had the most amazing dinner and fireworks. We’re already taking about coming back next year.

I can recommend this hotel in every way. The staff is friendly, there’s free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Nothing was ever too much effort.

We were here with our friends and ordered bottle of wine which was just horrible so we asked for new ones and than come the owner who was there with his friends and told us that we do not understand it and if we do like Austia some we can take our suitcases and move out

I'm sure that his reaction was absolutely unacceptable and just because we were here with small kids and it was like 9pm we did not move out

It was for sure our last time in this hotel

We do not need to spend our vacation and money in hotel where the owner needs to show his power on guests in front of his friends

Milderer Hof is a family run hotel that is very well located for hiking the many wonderful trails in the area. The hotel succeeds on many levels: Service, cuisine, wellness and accommodations.

The staff is very friendly, helpful and speaks very good English.

The rooms in general are very spacious. We had one of the older "Luxuszimmer" rooms, which is 45 sq. qm. While it looks exactly the same as our first visit many years ago and so is a bit dated, we lived there very comfortably and enjoyed all the space and our generous balcony. They have added new junior suites and are renovating the Komfortzimmers but haven't done the Luxuszimmers yet. (or at least not the one we had, which was 225).
We tried to reserve one of the new suites, but they were already fully booked, as were almost all the other rooms too. So word to the wise - book early!

The food is fabulous and they feed you practically as often as on a cruise ship when you take half board - Huge breakfast buffet, lunch buffet, coffee/tea/cake in the afternoon and a full gourmet dinner with lots of choices each evening. Very nice wine list, too.

They have a wonderful "wellness oasis" with indoor pool, various saunas, relax areas inside and also outside (when weather cooperates) to enjoy after an active day or simply to kick back and relax.

Speaking about active, you can be as active as you like, because there are lots of options: Guided hikes, bike rentals, swimming, cultural outings, etc. With the Superpass that they offered as part of our stay (no extra charge), you could take advantage of using public transportation, Seilbahn, lifts and so on, as well as discounts on activities in the area (like Adventure Park for the kids). We saved a lot of money!

Room tip: Higher floors generally better in terms of view. 225 overlooked the parking lot and the hotel next door. You could still see the mountains but it was not as pleasant.

We stayed two weeks in the beautiful Mildererhof Hotel in Stubaital. A very nice 'Luxuszimmer' on the first floor gave us enough privacy en comfort for a relaxing holiday. What we certainly want to mention is de very friendly and polite hotel staff. The high levelled food and the exceptional wellness and swimming pool make the holiday feelig complete.
