We chose this property of a long weekend with a friendly couple. What can I say. Erika was waiting for us for our late check in at 23.30 and greeted us with a smile despite the hour. Showed us the apartment, provided local tips and overall was very helpful.

The apartment itself was extremely clean recently renovated and fully stocked in terms of appliances needed. It has fantastic views and is in a very convenient location close to the main road, but secluded enough not to be able to see it and hear no noise from it.

Just waiting for the chance for me to go there again!!!

I visited the hotel 3 times in winter and I believe to return there in the future. Hotel accomodation is more than perfect (nice and big rooms), spa-area very big with external swimingpool (heated). Chef is the owner so cuisine is very delicious. Hotel is located in very quiet place with beautiful mountain view and Neustift village and valey.

You don't hear many Americans talking about skiing in Austria - what a treat they are missing. The perfect time to visit the Stubaital - and particularly the Hotel Erika - is Spring. Conveniently located in the lush valley just a short distance from Newstift, this Alpine hotel offers easy access by car or bus to the glacier for skiing (my kids) or (as in my case) for sight-seeing. For those not interested in skiing (or riding the gondola to the "top" of the Alps), there are wonderful hiking/biking trails close by or within easy driving distance. Rooms at Hotel Erika are well-appointed, with outstanding views of the mountains/valley. All four of us were happy to take advantage of the steam, sauna and heated pool at the hotel's lower-level spa. Besides the view, the thing with which we were most impressed at this small and friendly facility was the food. Buffet-style breakfasts offer a little something for everyone including scrambled eggs done to perfection. And to the surprise of our family this facility offers multi-course dinners to hotel residents at a most reasonable cost. The set menu is prepared on sight by the proprietor and rivals any fine restaurant I've visited. My 16-year-old granddaughter was pleased to find wireless in our room - but ended up spending very little time on her computer in the four days we were there!
