spaiggia piccola e caotica in quanto frequentata sia dai local che dai turisti. molto sporca. viene anche suggerita come ottima per lo snorkelig ma in realtà cè poco da vedere. se avete poco tempo andate in altre spiaggie.

small and chaotic because it is frequented by locals and tourists alike. very dirty. it is also suggested as good for snorkelig but in reality there is little to see. if you have little time go to other beaches.

Visited this beach via a tuk tuk for a morning with my family (3 adults, 4 children ages 7, 6, 3, & 1.) First off, there are two beaches to jungle beach and we visited the beach which is closer to the temple, I think it is the smaller beach and is known for snorkeling. As to the snorkeling, don't waste your time. Very little fish to see, no coral, and poor water clarity (and I think we were on a good day for water clarity.) Honestly, we brought our snorkel gear on our trip to Sri Lanka because of hopes to snorkel at jungle beach, if I go back, I won't bother carrying the stuff with me. The beach itself was nice in the morning with a good amount of tourists, but not enough to be crowded. Around about noon things started to get busy as many mothers were coming to the beach with their kids after school let out. I didn't find any issue with this group of people other than the fact that there were a ton of them. They just kept coming and coming and things were getting really crowded. I am talking about going from roughly 50 - 60 tourists at the beach to probably 200+ after school crowd and growing. So we decided to pack up and move on.

If you want a somewhat secluded, calm beach with kind of clear water, then come by Jungle Beach in the morning and enjoy. Other than that, I wouldn't bother coming to this beach. Honestly, when back in Sri Lanka, I won't visit this beach again. There are way better places than this.

The beach was perfect with golden Sands. However was a bit crowded as we visited on a weekend. The beach is surrounded by a small forest. A small Hill is to be climbed down to enter the beach. The beach offers some dine in options where you could even have a beer after a good splash in the waves.

We went there 3 times while we were staying in Galle. For the first time there were almost no one. The beach seemed very clean and quiet. We were happy that we found a good beach.
So we went there another time omg there were sooo many locals and tourists. There is garbage everywhere and the beach is dirty. Well locals seem like they own this beach so they behave like this. Dogs are pooping to the water in front of you, drunk locals are looking like they are drowning and they just go and pee to the water and everyone can see. This place is disgusting.
Take a bike and go somewhere else. We found so many nice beaches around so this one is not worth to go...
