The staff were so kind, friendly and helpful at the Seapoint and made our trip extra special. The hotel was very clean and lovely and quiet in a wonderful location on the north of the island within reach of Grand Baie and Mon Choisy beach. The food was exceptional and the half board option was a great value. It was also lovely to have a complimentary message in the spa. I highly recommend the Seapoint for a romantic break.

Writing this review of Seapoint Boutique Hotel really is a tough cookie. First of all I must say the staff is very friendly, polite and is doing its best to make your stay as comfortable and remarkable as it can be. Special thanks to the management Vishnu and Manav who have been extraordinary caring for all their guests, making their stay magical.
Seapoint is a small boutique hotel with only about 22 rooms this creating an intimate and rather family like atmosphere. The garden, poolside and beach get cleaned every day and look beautiful. The beach itself is rather small, you can walk a little further towards other hotels but it’s not one of these sandy long beaches to stroll. The water is very shallow with a reef right at the front. So snorkelling is a good idea, for a good swim I would rather recommend the mon choisy beach about 15min by foot or 5 min by bike (that you can rent at the hotel for free) away. At Mon Choisy you can also watch an amazing sunset (from the hotel you cannot).
Rooms: we got an upgrade to a suite, which are all located up top with a balcony. The Garden Room Deluxe is right at the ground floor with a little terrace facing towards pool and beach. The rooms are of good size and modern. Unfortunately we had a lot of very small ants on the table etc. May be this was the issue in all the rooms.
The minibar is not that well equipped and a bit overpriced.
Kitchen: Breakfast doesn’t change, options of 2 cheeses, ham and Marmelade, also some pastries, pancakes and you can order a variation of eggs. For lunch you have a few options of salads and mains. We loved the Bento Box, but you have to book it one day before otherwise it is not available. Dinner: everyday a different chefs menu. When you book half board like we did, there are only a few more options on the menu, not changing. Can get a little boring if you stay longer. Otherwise food is good. Unfortunately you do notice when there are a few more guest dining at the same time the kitchen does have issues. On our last dinner we were surprised with a lovely romantic table set up. So sad the food wasn’t that good that day. Beef Angus Filet well done instead of medium twice, chicken main course cold, waiting time for the mains 1:15 hour. Such a shame on our last day. But the set up was lovely.
Mostly they have different bands playing during dinner time which is nice.
On our departure day we were supposed to get a breakfast package with us. I uploaded a photo of this which was rather disappointing... one toast, not as a sandwich but with cheese and ham separately. Thought this was joke. No cutlery to make yourself a sandwich nor being able to eat the Joghurt or the fruit. No drinks. Didn’t have a bag so have us a plastic bag to take it with us. Regarding this breakfast package there is definitely need of improvement.
Activities: there is a good variety of activities they offer and even if you have any extra wishes they try to make it happen.
Staff/Service: like I said before, the management really does everything they can to make your stay remarkable. Service is also friendly and tries it’s best. But there is definitely space for improvement - and it breaks my heart to say so.
It’s the little things like ordering fried eggs on both sides but always getting only one side, forgetting bout drinks or extra orders.
All together, I do want to recommend this hotel as the management is staff is lovely! But regarding the hotel category and prices for drinks, food, Spa, activities etc. there needs to be further improvement.

Dear Josefine W,

Thank you for taking the time to share with us your experience at Seapoint Boutique Hotel. We are glad that you appreciated the hospitality of our staffs. Thank you for the recommendation as well. However, we are sorry to read that you had ants on the table despite the daily maintenance as living on an island and with this hot weather it is obvious for the insects to come out. Also, we are sad to hear that you had to wait a long time to get your main course and we apologise for the delay. We have taken note of your comment, thank you again as reviews such as yours help us to better improve our service and aim at your best satisfaction. We have shared it with our team and will take the necessary measures to improve variety and service standards.

We hope to welcome you back again at Seapoint Boutique Hotel.

Best Regards,
Seapoint Boutique Hotel Team

Stayed 6 nights at Seapoint in one of the ground level units looking onto the pool and beach. Though the adjoining properties - Club Med and Hotel de Cannoniers - are much larger, Seapoint has an intimate feel which larger resorts cannot offer. The clientele is mainly European & most really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere in the restaurant and bar areas is great and the beach setting is marvelous. The staff are relaxed, friendly and attentive to guest needs

Room Tip: Ground level rooms are great though upper level have balconies with nice outlook so have different advantages.

If there would be an extra point for the high quality this hotel would for sure deserve it!
We celebrated our marriage at Seapoint and spent our honeymoon as well. Everything was perfect, and the whole staff took care of us and of our guests, in order that we could completely relax and enjoy our time.
The hotel is small and well kept, the rooms are very comfortable, the food is amazing and the service superbe! We can only recommend it and we will for sure come back again. You should definetly stay there if you are looking for a cozy atmosphere combined with a fantastic service.
A special thank you to Manav and Habil for their amazing job!

I stayed for 4 nights in Seapoint boutique Hotel. It is a lovely small hotel, romantic atmosphere, very quiet (just adults), super friendly staff (especially Vishnu, Manav, Yusra, Rashvan and Nick), great spa service. The hotel has nice private beach, but it is small and rocky. The hotel has a nice restaurant that serves a delicious food for dinner. However, they need to improve the breakfast. Regarding the swimming pool, it is small and they need to make it bigger.
They provide some free activities such as bicycles, kayaking and snorkling. However, they need to work professionally on outside excursions. There is nothing around the hotel, but the Grand Bay area is about 8 minutes by car. In addition, there is a shopping mall about 10 minutes by car. You can use the bicycles to go there.
In general, I highly recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.

Room Tip: Although deluxe room is more expensive than standard room, they look same to me!
