“Great stay, just remember to take everything you need.”
Reviewed 11 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Stayed early March and had a nice few chilled out days.the owner seems to have just about everything covered for a pleasant stay. Lots of handy advice notes pinned around the cottage re tv instructions, hot tub advice etc. Good wifi ,which has very quickly become a must have for accomodation nowadays, but zero mobile signal, which for us was quite welcome. Hot tub was fantastic, photos don't do it justice regarding the size of it,and having a tv and remote control in there was a nice touch.
Selection of tea, coffee and condiments provided, along with washing up stuff incase you forget it. Do try and take everything you need as the nearest store would be almost an hour round trip including a scoot round the shop. Fuel for first fire lighting is provided along with plenty logs, but I would maybe advise taking some extra kindling and fire lighters along if you are not quite in the Bear Grylls mould.
Fabulous stay.

“Beautiful secluded getaway in great surroundings”

Hi we stayed at the cottage in August this year and loved the place. The cottage is compact but truly cosy and feels very much like a home from home with all the amenities you could need staying in the Highlands, the strip heater in the bathroom was particularly useful to us for drying clothes off (we were there shortly after hurricane Bertha passed the UK and so travelling around on a motorbike we got just a little bit wet!)
The open fire was great (logs provided by owner) and the hot tub in the garden shed a brilliant way to relax while watching the en suite TV.
If like us you aren't from the highlands take plenty of wet weather gear and warm clothing to enjoy the outdoors there even in August! Wonderful scenery and friendly people, plenty of local conveniences while feeling nice and remote at the cottage the privacy was great. The views from the cottage alone are superb even before you set off down the road.
Probably better for a couple than larger group or family, for us it was ideal.

“Perfect relaxing getaway”
Reviewed 24 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

Just home from our second visit to Pipers Cottage. We love this cosy wee cottage that has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break away. The hot tub is so lovely to come back to after some great walk in the local countryside. The bathrobes provided are great for the wee dash from the house to tub. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and there is even a fire pit outside, so don't forget your marshmallows. We are busy checking our diaries for when we can return to this private little haven.
