“a peaceful sanctuary in a great location”
Reviewed 1 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

This is a great wee house. Perfect for a september break with my partner and 4 year old son. It's location is stunning, and it's clear that a lot of thought has gone into the house. Hope to come back some day.

“Fantastic, lovely, brilliant wee Cottage”
Reviewed 16 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Don't expect huge rooms, space indoors or much head rooms inthe bedroom BUT if you want to stay somewhere where it's cosy, clean, romantic, just an easy to relax wee Cottage surrounded by stunning countryside and can watch telly whilst laying in the hot tub then this is the one to book!!! We will definitely be back!

“Lovely peaceful place”

Charming cottage well stocked with the simple things you usually need to take yourself, like tea, coffee, sugar. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and dishwasher tablets. Sky TV in lounge, bedroom and summer house. Relaxing in the hot tub in summer house is terrific after walking during the day. Good sized garden with picnic table and barbecue equipment. Recommend Glen Hotel at Newtonmore for bar lunch, but only served between 12 and 2 (we arrived slightly after 2 not knowing meals weren't available all day but they still managed to provide food despite having to prepare for a large wedding reception that evening). Had about 4 real ale taps including guest beers. Lovely, well signed, walks at Feshiebridge include the Frank Bruce sculpture trail. Good sized Co-op at Newtonmore. Fire wasn't made up for our arrival as promised. There were no firelighters either, however a call to Matthew provided access to the shed for firelighters. Could possibly do with a wee nest of tables in the lounge for placing drinks on but that's a minor complaint. Would definitely return.
