We found this beach on our last day and what a discovery, it's beautiful. A bit of a walk down the steps (and back up again!) But well worth it.

This beach was a nice short walk from our stay in Alvor. Even on a cloudy day, it was breathtaking. Little caves and arches along cliff side. Canico cafe built intothe cliff is a nice place to stop for a drink or have dinner there and watch the tide come in over sunset. Not too crowded and in morning it was empty. Definitely fun place to explore and the bright green algae was so beautiful! You can also climb to the top and see the beautiful rocks from a panorama view.

This is the most amazing beach I have ever been to, you can pass through to 3 more beaches from here through caves and crevices, each one delighting in different ways. The water is calm and clear and the beach was clean. There is a restaurant built into a cliff on one of the beaches, spectacular to see. It was so much fun exploring these beaches and my children enjoyed it very much.

Beautiful charming small beach by the sea, calm with beautiful cliffs and the sound of the waves, unlike some other beach in the area there are not so many ugly concrete hotells distrupting the natural beauty. Sad to see so much plastics in the sand, but guess that's a global problem and not a local.
