My wife and spent 3 nights in this peaceful hotel and we had s really pleasent stay. The structure it is amazing with a very helpful staff. Just meters from the beach. Delicious breakfast with several choices. Room itself it is nice with plenty of space and nice area outside facing the garden. Confy bed and pillows. Furniture, shower cabinet, toilets sanitary are maybe just a bit old fashioned but in general are ok. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is conveniently located 5 minutes walk from the main port and restaurants. It is located between two of the main beaches. The pool is well maintained however it was clear that the season was coming to an end as the hotel was a bit tired. The staff were very helpful however nobody warned us of The mosquitos until it was too late!! Be careful if booking through Expedia as breakfast may not be included.

We had a nice stay at Hotel Eros. It is a very convenient location on Vulcano as it is close to the port, two black sand beaches, the mud pools, and several restaurants. The breakfast was very good. The staff was very helpful and friendly... in particular, Stefania was super friendly and helped us on several situations. We recommend that you consider staying at Hotel Eros when in Vulcano.

Visited the island of Vulcano to climb the volcano, wallow in the mud baths and soak in the geothermal springs in the sea! Stayed at Eros Hotel! Great location, wonderful staff, very clean hotel. Good Breakfast selection. Stayed here 10 years ago and it is still top notch now 10 years later. The black sand beach right outside of the hotel is a bonus.... would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this island of Vulcano!
Service, hotel & rooms all 5 STar....

Room tip: Room 19 has a great view of the beach.

We enjoyed our stay at the Eros hotel very much, much more than a previous stay in a nearby hotel.

Our room was of good size, well presented and of good decor with a good-sized bathroom and patio. The mattress was very good. The air conditioning system was easy to operate and had a great option for the reduction of background noise in the night. The room was located in the main building -not far from the reception.

The breakfast was great; every morning there were fantastic real homemade cakes (I loved the chocolate & mascarpone cake and the dark chocolate & ricotta). All the food served at breakfast was fresh and tasty. The personnel serving at the restaurant were very kind.

The cocktails were also fantastic and I would recommend to have cocktails while you are in the pool area.

The pool of this hotel is simply great!

The location of the hotel is great. Few steps away from the black sand beach and 5 minutes walk to the village centre with few restaurants for dinner.

The only issue I think it is worth mentioning is that this hotel does not have a reserved (=private) beach, as it seemed from the descriptions we read before we arrived; however, the hotel has free access to a (small) public beach on the east bay, which is reachable from the hotel garden with few steps. Also this hotel is less than 200 m away from the black sand beach in the west bay. We preferred to walk to the black sand beach. Thus, you may need to pay for an umbrella with sunbeds in one of the (other) private beach establishments or you could use the free public spot (a portion of the black sand beach when you can stay free of charge -usually very busy In August). To be honest, we did not suffer from the absence of an hotel reserved beach. Altogether, we think this hotel is still excellent as it is. We hope the service and facilities will continue being as excellent as we found them.

Well we wish we could come back there soon!
