Welcoming staff (Manager, Driver, Barman, etc.). We were again given a huge room (a suite really) with nice terrace. Beach is right outside the building. Hotel made an effort with the breakfast-buffet, which had many more fresh products this time.

Room tip: Rooms with beach view may be exposed to noise from parties.

We stayed one night and everything was perfect! The staff and service was great from beginning to end. The breakfast buffet was very good with a variety of foods from hot to cold. The hotel is situated in this small town, walking distance from the port and right on the black sand beach. All in all, it was a great stay

It is hard to call this a "hotel" unless you are used to suites in a hotel. Kitchen and living room along with a seperate bedroom and bathroom. Really great experience. We could see the beautiful black sand beach from our porch and enjoy the sunset. We had a wonderful sunset dinner on the terrance that will always be remembered. We were on a family tour and this was a change in the hotel, way better than what we had been told. Nice and easy walk to town and the boat docks. Breakfast was great. The pool hours do need to be looked at but that was the only negative. Staff was always friendly and very helpful.

This was our second consecutive year at this hotel and we hope to return next year too. Few hotels offer such great facilities for all, whether you want a good place for a young family -as did we- or a romantic getaway, as did others. I must say that Vulcano itself is probably a little too touristy in the summer months but the Hotel keeps pulling us back as its beach, pool, facilities, romantic terrace bar, excellent service, convenient location close to the Port and lovely, lovely front management make it an obvious choice for us. We will definitely continue to return!

The hotel is well located, walking distance from the port and has it's own beach.
Be aware that the hotel just serves breakfast and neither lunch nor snacks nor dinner.
The room was OK but never worth of 4 stars with really cheap equipment inside.
The rooms were clean though but one of them was smelling strange. In. 4 star I expect nice smelling rooms.
The breakfeast buffet was OK but again not worth the 4 stars, except the baristo who makes excellent cappucinos with foam art
they have as well a well working taxi service between the port and the Hotel.
The beach was not clean at all. another point we expect froma 4 star (and know from several other hotels of that class in sicily)
All in all a good tourist class hotel, and they speak well french and english. Most of the tourists during our week were french.

Dear Christoph G,

I thank you for the time you have dedicate to write your advice and we will take into consideration your notes.
I would like only to underline that the room you booked is one of the not yet renewed but it is clean and good scented and that you are the first guest that does not appreciate our breakfast buffet that is very reach and various but tastes are not discussed.

In any case we hope you will come once again

Regards

Antonella
