This is a nice hotel on Vulcano Island approximately 10 minutes walk from the port. The hotel is clean and the rooms are a good size. The pool is lovely and we used it a lot during our stay. The staff were friendly and it was great value for money. The hotel is about 5 minutes from the start of the walk to the crater.

Stayed for 6 days - 2 people. Good basic, quiet, clean chalet style accommodation - far enough away from the main area for peaceful nights but still an easy walk from restaurants, cafes and the port. Excellent base for climbing the volcano with the joy of a relaxing swim in the pool afterwards. Very friendly staff. Would have no hesitation about using this accommodation again.

The first thing that you see is the giant volcano towering beyond the back fence. Amazing to swim in the pool and look up at it. Very clean and quiet with big rooms. Its good value for money. Easy walk to volcano if you want to climb it and there is a bakery and market nearby.

Staff spoke little English and seemed disorganised and not certain of our reservation or price of our stay. Rooms clean with working air con and outside patio area but overall Al Togo is a series of one room chalets not a hotel in the conventional sense. A 10 minute walk from the port uphill with cases only half signposted so needed to ask for directions several times. Swimming pool good. Breakfast okay but no other facilities and no Internet at hotel or elsewhere on the island (ie no Internet cafe's). Convenient for walking to the crater.
