After travelling for 5 weeks it was wonderful to arrive at this hotel and put our feet up for a couple of days. Rooms are really comfortable. Pool area is great and the beach is metres from the entrance. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk into the port of Naoussa with its blue and white buildings, maze of laneways, shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly - everyone smiled at you and said hello. When we got caught up in a ferry strike, they helped us keep in contact with our travel company and kept us up to date. 👍 would stay here again.

Our stay at Contaratos Beach was amazing. Our room was small but no smaller than hotels on other Greek islands. The view was perfect! Our patio faced the pool with a wonderful full beach view. The bathroom was slightly older, but nothing that was a problem. The fridge was well stocked and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was gracious and went out of their way to make our stay so pleasant. The bartender even made me a fresh Greek salad for a late lunch even though they were closing--delicious! The ladies at the front counter gave great suggestions for dinner and activities. The breakfast was abundant, fresh, and delicious. The location of the hotel is perfect, beachfront and close to town without all the crowds. I love family owned hotels and this one is a gem!

We stayed for two nights in a suite which had fabulous views & was super comfy. The pool is great, it's on the beach and lunch is good in the pool side restaurant.

On the negative, the breakfast on the first day was v poor, the second day much better. Neither were worth paying extra for. In the room, the cistern broke and the shower was broken/very weak. We gave feedback and were told we didn't know how to use the buttons, then it was a problem every where in Naoussa & once we explained we'd stayed in other hotels in Naoussa without issue, we were told other people didn't have a problem so it was just our issue. Feedback is feedback and worth listening to and acting upon it rather than getting defensive.

None the less, we enjoyed the trip and the hotel is worth a visit if you get a decent price.

The hotel is located right on a beautiful beach with free sunbeds for the hotel guests and it is only 10 minutes to walk into Naoussa. The pool always had free sunbeds and the restaurant/bar by the pool was nice and convenient for lunch with a serviceminded staff.

However, you had to pay to change your beachtowels, you could not use the minibar for keeping water and they wanted to charged me 10 Euros for my son to bring a non-resident friend to the pool. Which was empty at the time. The management needs to work on how to be more flexible towards their clients.

The rooms are of a typical Greek 3 star standard, but we had a nice big terrace and seaview. In the bathroom the shower kept falling out of the wall and the maid kept trying to stick it back on, but on our last day it just collapsed completely.

The breakfast was of poor quality and not worth paying for. Overall this is not a 4 star hotel but it has a great location on the beach and a nice pool area.

If u want lunch, breakfast, don't go to contaratos bar. I ordered carbonara and it was cold and awful. My girlfriend ordered greek salad, and it was not good at all. After eating there i got sick. Throwing up etc.. I don't recommend this bar to nobody. The old french guy who worked there were unfriendly and arrogant.

Dear guest,

First of all we would like to thank you for your comment. It really helps to improve the quality of our services!

If indeed this incident happened and you haven't mistaken us with another hotel, it would have been really helpful and appreciated if you had expressed all these complaints to the management, so that we could have responded to your unfortunate situation and solved the issues while your were still at the hotel. In this way we would have been able to satisfy you immediately.

* Please notice that the food is cooked when ordered!

Kind Regards,
