Fantastic accommodation. Lovely, spacious room with a little terrace overlooking the property gardens and neighboring orchards. Decor, lighting and furnishing of the building has a soothing throwback feel which adds to the aura. GRIC B&B sits quietly under the mountains from which you can hear Jackals howling late in the evening, very cool! Our lovely hosts were gracious enough to prepare a delicious breakfast for us at 5:45 am since we had to catch the early (only!) ferry to Ploce an hr later. A full spread of fresh breads, yogurt, cheese, meats, homemade jams, eggs, etc. Yum. Drasko helped with reservations at a local Konoba and was quick to reply to emails. Great experience.

For our summer holidays this year we chose Vila Gric Trpanj, Croatia, based on the reviews from TripAdvisor.
Initially, we would have liked to return to Peljesac, where we had been in 2009, since it is considered one of the ripest area of Croatia. But now I don't think we could have made a better choice. Since we were two families spending the holidays together, we booked the entire first floor of Gric Vila for two weeks. From the first time we stepped into the garden, we were welcomed by a heavenly scene: orange trees, figs, kaki, palm trees and other Mediterranean plants very well grown and kept by owners. I don't think there are many properties of such range and charm on the Dalmatian Riviera. The owners, Tina and Drasko, are effortlessly enjoyable, warm and friendly, which shows class and good upbringing. The Vila has a vintage and charming appearance, while the architectural details, finishing, the mix of old and new, high ceilings, wood flooring, the fine interior fragrance contributed to our daily wellness. The rich breakfast, served in the garden under a Mediterranean tree (ficus, I think, but I'm not sure) helped us start every day at leisure. For dinner, the owners made some great recommendations, in Trpanj, as well as in the area. One day, Drasko took us to a wine tasting at a local producer, where we had the chance to compare wines from different years and we bought a few bottles of the famous wine produced in Peljesac.
The coastline is at 4 minutes from Vila Gric, in an enjoyable walk through a wood of cypress, pine and fig trees. Trpanj is on the Northern coast of Peljesac peninsula, which has an added advantage: on the beach you can find natural tree shade, so rare and enjoyable at the seaside, especially on very hot days. The sea water is very clean and the East-West currents keep it fresh and invigorating. One day we went to the beaches of Divna and Duba, where we found white rocks, turquoise water and a smooth sea bank, but our boys who want rocks and high cliffs for cliff-jumping have preferred the idyllic and uncrowded beaches of Trpanj.
We already feel nostalgic for this place and we wish to return...

A little charming family bed and breakfast located near the port of Trpanj, we can only recommend. Cozy little town which provides ample opportunity for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings
We stayed here for four nights in Sept 2013. I was heavy hearted leaving Tina and Drasko. I loved every second that we stayed here and hope to return next year. This is a very special place. I heartily recommend it.
