I have done many all inclusive holidays & this must have been the worst ever. Hotel very basic, poor food selection, limited alcohol selection, entertainment poor, rooms basis (although cleaned daily) lack of sun beds around pool side (23) to be exact, not ideal for anyone with mobility or respiratory problems lots of stairs to rooms, pool etc, a lack of atmosphere, restaurants, bars in the village! Croatia itself is beautiful & I will most certainly return

We arrived last week after long drive from Dubrovnik. Cold dinner has been provided, and some drinks as well. Staff was very friendly, and resolved all the issues we have raised. Rooms are bit dated, but cleaned every day.I agree with the comments about the stairs.
Swimming pool was quite deep, but clean with limited number of sun beds.
Food was good with limited choice, but always few types of meat and fish or sea food.
Great thing about pool bar, where you could prepare your own drinks- so no queues.
Lovely beach 10m away from hotel.

Room tip: Great ice cream place (Obala) near the hotel. Trips to Korcula island from Orebic

We were very surprised to be the only British guests, particularly as it was UK schools half term week! The hotel is very popular with Eastern and mid Europeans. This was not a problem for us and was culturally enlightening! Staff and amenities were good. The manager always visible. Full board meals could be more varied but were adequate, providing you weren't late diners as some foods ran out due to the huge appetites of some guests! Our only complaint was the sunbed situation: sunbeds reserved with towels early morning and then left for the best part of the day by guests who also occupied bar tables on the terrace or had gone on trips. This meant we had to pay for beds on the beach, not a problem until we realised beds not booked out were being used anyway! The sunbed occupancy needs closer policing! Overall, a good, relaxing holiday at the beginning of the season! However, we would imagine it could get very busy during June, July and August! Family focused and probably not the best option for older couples...we had to climb 98 steps from reception to our room!

Room tip: Request sea view

Environment: Trpanj is a charming fishing village with original houses. Along the rocky coast leads a 1,500 meters long beautiful walking path. The Hotel Faraon have a very nice place, quiet environment and beautiful panorama. The beach is near, with pebble ground, the water is clear. In September, afternoon shine not long the sun on the beach. 1,000-2,000 meters from here there are other beautiful beaches, and nudist beaches.
The hotel: The rooms are comfortable, balcony with view to the sea and the coast. The building is 30-40 years old had to be replaced slightly with the balcony door. The rooms are clean, but not cleaned every day. The towels are changed only if you ask. The pool is nice and clean, the loungers are limited.
Error: many of the stairs, no elevator or ramp so is not recommended for handicapped persons.
Restaurant: We chosen all inclusive, which is very abundant. The breakfast every day the same, but quite abundant supply, so it is possible to change. Lunch and dinner is delicious with a lot of typical dishes like fish. Throughout the day there is a free option beer, wine and soft drinks and even four kinds of spirits consumption as well.
We really enjoyed ourselves, we plan to go here again. Whoever difficult steps, the hotel is not ideal.

Room tip: Beautiful view from all rooms. A lot of stairs, not recommended for disabled.

Hotel Faraon is hotel that is built a long time ago and a builiding has it's "marks" but rooms are renovated, and very clean. Hotel has a great location, it's on the beach and it has a good entarteiment for kids and family overall, the staff is quite friendly and if you decide for option of all inclusive - that's the best buy. I had an all inclusive arrangement with room with seaview and it was really relaxing and nriousice, and there is various amount of food and drinks to eat.

About bad sides - the hotel has too much stairs and no elevator - not suitable for elder people and anyone with knee pain. The WiFi isn't quite good and bed aren't really comfortable. Also you have to pay seperate for parking in front of hotel (5euro per day) which isn't that expensive but there are only 20 available parking places, so good luck!

Overall, hotel is offering great relaxation for a really good price and Trpanj is one small and quite place with one of the clearest and cleanest seas in the world.

Room tip: Pick a room with seaview - you won't regret it.
