I have been to this apartment twice, once in winter (new year 2014/15) and in Aug 2015. It is good to be able to comment now. It is located in a small town of Leogang which has been developed over the years and has recently had a huge new ski/gondola area and supermarket. There are places for ski/board hire, ski school and private tuition, plenty of slopes for beginners but also plenty of advanced for the experienced skier/boarder. In the summer you have a Lido in Leogang which is a stones throw from the apartment, plenty of good pubs for food and drink and a fab bakery 2 minutes walk from the apartment so no need to cook at any time! The ski slopes in summer become a walkers paradise or the more extreme mountain biking and the gondola is in full operation along with the Apre's ski areas. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area and comfortable enough with a fully stocked kitchen, the one bedroom has a king size bed and full single size bunk beds which suits needs as you will not be spending much time indoors! TV, DVD and wifi with a large seating area, a drying room downstairs for laundry(washing machine in apartment) or ski clothes, a communal cellar for ski/board/bike storage. A patio door opens onto a private area and also a large grassed communal area which gives a nice outlook. The train station is a 10 minute walk from the apartment but operates a rural timetable, a bigger station is not far away and plenty of buses. Close by is the beautiful Lake Zell which I favour in the summer, the multi pool at Kaprun where you can swim outdoors in the snow and have a cocktail in the middle of the pool with a full panoramic of the mountains in front of you. Also tabogan runs, white water rafting, the outdoor pursuits are endless. Fly into Salzburg or Munich then either car hire or train, both will get you to Leogang with ease.
