“my ULTIMATE beach bumming experience ”
Reviewed 1 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Home away from home! This beach house is exactly as described by its wonderful host, Richard who is very accommodating. He tirelessly helped us with everything
we needed!

Away from the hustle and bustle of Manila city life, Azul let's you experience nature as its best - the breathtaking West Philippine coast sunsets (one of the bests ive ever witnessed! ) , a river with mountain backdrop, secluded beach and its "probinsya vibe". The place is quiet especially at night , you would only hear the sound of the waves and winds blowing.

The beach house itself if neat and tidy and has wifi (for Instrgamming those beautiful shots of the beach!).Beds are comfortable , clean bathroom. Love the kitchen! They've got all the basics a cook would need (yes you will appreciate it very much! ).

Managing Josie, the care taker is a Wonder Woman! She is very helpful and kind .

Few tips :)
- for those with kids - if your kids or even you can't swim in beach , you can easily set up your own inflatable pool right in front of the beach house's veranda and still get that unobstructed view of the beach (enjoy wading while having your halo halo or home made lemonade! )
- sunsets here are so amazing so make sure you spend your afternoons in the beach , set up a picnic mat with some wine and good music . Do kite flying ! Winds are strong enough for your sports kite.
- have breakfast at the river side hut and just enjoy the view while the sun is rising
- Do your "palengke" in Iba Public Market (about 20 mins drive from the beach house) where you can find the local fisherman's freshest catch .. then have manang Josie grill those for you.
- Set up a bonfire in the beach at night ! Don't forget your S'mores!

Overall experience - SUPERB! It's my ultimate beach bumming experience!

Will keep coming back!

I was not familiar with the place so I was not expecting much but found our stay suprisingly pleasant and relaxing. The beach, though wavy, was nice and not too crowded.

We loved our stay at @ZambalesBeachHouse! It has everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Quiet and peaceful, it is like having your own private beach. Sunsets are breathtaking! If you're looking to get away from the city and relax, this is the place to be!

“Undiscovered Gem”
Reviewed 4 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Azul Beach house is located in a non-commercialized area of Zambales which makes it an ideal place for people who hates crowds. It is a simple and quaint beach house that has everything one would need for a beach getaway. The house is comfortable for a small family or goup of around 4-8, has a fully functioning kitchen complete with pots, pans, cutlery, plates, glasses, microwave, refrigerator, bowls, etc. Both rooms have AC, a fan, and it's own bathroom. There is an abundance if pillows and towels were provided. The host also provides drinking mineral water. The house has an alfresco dining area facing a river and an awesome mountain view. Those who prefer the beach view can opt to laze away at the veranda.

The beachfront is wide with virtually no one else around, making it perfect for just sitting by the beach and enjoying the view in peace. The house also has beach chairs one can use while on the beach. The housekeeper was pleasant and very helpful with all our needs, making sure all was going well. If you are lucky, you can also buy from the locals fresh seafood caught earlier in the morning, I personally was able to buy fresh and live crabs ready to be cooked for lunch. :) Definitely recommending this place for a quiet beach trip.

“Perfect for nature lovers!”
Reviewed 13 March 2017 for a stay in February 2017

The pictures cannot justify how beautiful this place is! If you like the pictures, you will definitely be mesmerized with the beauty of this place. You have a full ocean view even from inside the house. And the river.. oh i love this river. It's so calm and serene that it just sets the whole mood for the day. I still can't get it out of my head and I miss it already! This is surely a great place for nature lovers!

The house is elevated which makes the view even better. They have a huge veranda to relax in while having your morning coffee and breakfast or just a cool place to hangout with your family and friends.

The room has an air condition but we never got to use it. The weather here is just perfect that there was no need for us to use the air-conditioning. The wind may be a little bit too much at times but it is very tolerable. Besides, the chimes sound really good with the wind blowing so, it was more of a treat!

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking. Everything worked well. It's hard to complain while washing the dishes because it gives you a chance to enjoy the river and mountain views even more.

The caretaker, Manang Josie is so nice and always ready to assist you with anything. Such a nice neighborhood, very peaceful and the people are very friendly.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would LOVE to go back again soon! We definitely recommend this place. Thanks again Richard for being very responsive and for making sure that everything was going smoothly during our stay.. Til our next booking!!
