Just enjoyed a very relaxing and enjoyable lunch here. The food was excellent and varied, and high quality. A standout restaurant in the Yarra Valley area. Fantastic food, and pleasant and attentive staff. Can highly recommend it - give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Enjoyed an impromptu lunch at the restaurant. Initially we were concerned that the white tablecloth settings might indicate a price a little too high for a light lunch. However this was not the case. We were given our own personal wine tasting at our table at no extra charge which we used to select a bottle. Chose the lunch special - two courses for $25 and were very pleasantly surprised with the quality- cauliflower soup, calamari and panacotta dishes chosen were all delicious. Had a five year old with us and the staff went out of their way to make her feel special. Would definitely return next time we are visiting the Yarra Valley.

We were a group of 5 out for dinner on New Years Eve and decided on an a la carte dinner instead of the usual fixed price buffet affairs.
The restaurant was decorated for the occasion, with hats, noisy things etc to celebrate the occasion.
On the waiters advice we ordered the share antipasto platter, bruschetta and seared scallops, everything was delicious and we had difficulty finishing our starters.
Mains, four of us had steaks and they were done perfectly to order our othe diner had the Gnocchi and enjoyed that too.
Desserts were to die for.
Our evening was a great success, course were spaced well apart, drinks came promptly when ordered and the wait staff were friendly and helpful.
We have been here many times and never been disappointed yet.

We were booked in for dinner here and decided to go for a wine tasting the day before. We were turned away because of a private booking, which was weird in itself (have visited many many cellar doors and staff always seem to be able to multi-task) but what was worse was the attitude and the rude way the staff spoke to each other. We cancelled our dinner booking.

Our group of six ate here on the recommendation of one of the group who had had a great experience previously at the restaurant. We were underwhelmed. We had the set menu and chose the three courses for $55. One of our party ordered the steak and was told it could only be served cooked medium - why would this be so? The gnocchi was inedible and was willingly replaced with another meal. Of all the meals, only those who ordered the fish were happy with their meal. Service was pleasant but perfunctory and one waitress repeatedly called us 'love' which felt patronising. We travelled up from Melbourne and found the experience disappointing.
