Everything about this museum was impressive - beautiful location, stunning architecture and well-curated exhibitions.

If using public transport from Melbourne, get the train to Lilyvale and connect with the 685 bus - it's within zone 2. Although there isn't a stop as such, the driver will let you off at the museum gate and collect you from there on its way back from Healesville - just wave as the bus approaches.

The Dobell exhibition was gorgeous and interesting, as was the accompanying Dobell's Circle exhibition.

There is also a cafe/restaurant on site with a fantastic outdoor seating area, and a winery with tasting cellar. I can't comment on these as I didn't use them but if they are up to the standard of everything else, you can't go wrong with an outing here.

Staff were welcoming and friendly to chat with.

Wine tasting ok. Didn't try the restaurant but it was busy and looked good. Bought a bottle of wine and sat outside and looked at the amazing view. The art gallery was amazing. Well worth a visit and make sure you watch the film on the artist

A beautifully designed Gallery which hosted paintings by Louise Hearman. Enjoyed the exhibit and loved the way Louise used light and colour in her work. The design of the Gallery, allowed views of the outside grounds through long windows showing the beautiful autumnal trees and vineyard which is part of Tarrawarra Estate.

Magnificent setting and magnificent. Brilliant display of art from Archibald winning artist Louise Hearman in a great setting. The gallery is part of the TarraWarra winery and restaurant and each complements each other. The staff were excellent and allowed photoing of the paintings. Cost was only $5 for seniors

It always amazes me to find this sophisticated art gallery in the vineyards. After our delicious lunch in the restaurant we visited the gallery. The exhibition was
Louise Herman. I found her drawing and some portraits very nice but the paintings were not for me.
