Great Market, lots of goodies to look at and yummy things to buy. Avoca is great. We stopped at Beaufort and then Avoca on the way to the Grampians National Park. It was a Brilliant trip.

The Streets are blocked off and what appears to be most of the town is turned into one enormous market. Ended up will a vehicle full of vegies, plants , 2 Chooks, 1 Budgie and a jar of Peanut Butter !! On the Calender for a return visit.

We spent Saturday night in Clunes and then drove to the Talbot Market and spend a pleasant hour or two pottering around, tasting food, buying fruit and vegetables, looking at second hand and craft stalls, visiting the bookshop and enjoying the ambiance of this historic town.

Hello WaterArt,

Thank you for your review of the Talbot Farmers' Market!

We are happy to hear you enjoyed a pleasant Sunday morning exploring the food and produce stalls of the Farmers' Market. It sounds like you also discovered the adjacent Talbot Town Hall Market with its craft and bric-a-brac stalls and also the wonderful Slightly Bent Books shop in town.

We are pleased you enjoyed the ambiance of our lovely little historic town on market day and hope you will tell all your friends about Talbot and visit again one day.

Kindest Regards,
Jayne

A casual drive to Talbot Markets was not disappointing. We arrive lavish and so a few stalls had sold out but it was not enough to spoil the outing.

The food selection was not enormous but enough to be interesting and good tasting. We had a pulled pork roll from one of the stalls and loved it. Interesting bits and pieces to keep us interested while we strolled at a very leisurely pace. The previous comment about the number of dogs was relevant but we saw no problem dogs during our visit and there were plenty of them.

So all in all a nice day out.
