We loved this place!

We had tried for three days to find a traditional Irish pub with great food, ample table space and an ability to carry a conversation with a normal voice. Mary’s met and exceeded all and threw in tons of character to tip the scales in its favor.

With cherry fires blazing on a chilly, rainy day, we felt the warmth of both the fires and the people as we settled in.

The food: hearty, tasty and pleasingly presented.

We finally found a pub and were pleased when it exceeded our expectations.

This is a “do-over!”

Stayed in Magherafelt recently & after reading reviews & recommended locally we went on a Sunday, for lunch. The upstairs carvery was full but we were told we could sit downstairs by the fire & they would fetch it for us if we wanted. We decided to eat off the menu, Mary's Burger delicious & stuffed peppers also delicious. Superb service. We also popped in for a light lunch on a Saturday, no set lunch menu but we had a couple of starters to share... Lovely.

Mary's was recommended to us by our hotelier, very comfortable, delicious food, fast and courteous service, and no silly prices. Good value for money, and cannot recommend enough!

Marys never disappoints. Great food, nice atmosphere. Best fish and chips you can get. Great staff and nice music. Two course £13.95 . Try it!

Loved the armchairs in front of the fire. On a cold, damp day you would not want to leave this cosy spot. Great place. Loved it. Also those tobacco onions are amazing!
