“wonderfully welcoming and peaceful”
Reviewed 13 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Such a wonderful cottage. Catherine could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Rang up for a very last minute booking and got an immediate reply. Such a peaceful setting, lovely private garden and wildlife in the garden made it feel like we were in the heart of the countryside. Fresh coffee, wine, OJ and pastries plus strawberries on the doorstep was above and beyond - proper VIP service. Great little pub down the road too and lots of walks right from your doorstep if you don't have a car. Can't wait to go back!

“Fantastic”
Reviewed 30 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

I booked this cottage with a little expectation as it looked nice enough in the pictures but when we got there it was like a walking into a fairy tale. The cottage itself is very spacious and very quiet, being off the road and away from houses you hear no traffic and nothing from any neighbour. The garden is beautiful with fields behind it with hens, lama's, sheep and even a goose who I loved talking to and sharing some bread with in a morning.

The owners are also very nice and are always available if you need any help. Nothing is too much trouble and when we arrived there was food, coffee and milk and even a complimentary bottle of wine. There was a large selection of DVD's to watch and plenty of magazines dotted around to. Everything in the kitchen you need is also supplied, it's just like walking into an occupied house, nothing is not thought of.

The whole experience was first class from start to finish and I really did not want to leave, thanks Catherine and Charles for making our stay perfect.

What a find! This is truly one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed at. A home from home where everything has been thought of and kindly provided by hosts. From the overflowing welcome basket with tempting goodies for young and old to the sumptuous bath products available in bathroom, to even Lego, board games and DVDs! Cannot fault the gorgeous accommodation. Farm animals were icing on cake! Thank you Catherine we will be back!
