“Great'er than' Expectations!”

We read the TA description about Penny Black Cottage, but when we arrived it exceeded our expectations! Wow! What a fabulous few days, we packed so much in! It's great to be able to take Snoopy into so many pubs and cafes, we didn't find anywhere that wasn't dog friendly.

Penny Black Cottage has everything we need and more, we even enjoyed playing board games and doing jigsaws for the first time in years, we hardly used the wifi.

The bed is really comfy and we slept like logs after long days out - Snoops was shattered too and slept in most days!

Now we know there's a bike store at the cottage, we'll bring the cycles on our next visit and leave Snoopers with mum for a rest!

We've already re-booked!!!

Penny is a wonderful cottage with amazing views.Jaine and Dave made us very welcome and had provided every comfort to make our stay very relaxing.Their welcome basket was out of this world ,even included treats for our dog.Ingleton Falls and Malham Cove are fantastic places to visit and dogs are made welcome in lots of tearooms and pubs.A lovely weekend spent in a very special place.

Hi Natalie.
Thank you for your lovely review, you're very welcome.
Thank you also for looking after Penny and for leaving her so clean, neat and tidy. I'm pleased that you enjoyed your welcome pack and found Penny to be a 'home from home'. I appreciate your kind comments about the facilities - I do my best to provide for the modern visitor whilst retaining as much of Penny's 240 year old character as possible. It's great that you completed most of your planned walks and enjoyed the surrounding area. You're welcome to return anytime. Kindest regards, Jaine.
