Had seen Tennants Auction on many an Antiques Programme. We are staying in the Dales for a holiday and looking for indoor things to do (bit damp and windy at times). Saw on internet about The Garden Rooms and couldn't quite work out what it was all about but thought it was worth a visit. Really pleased we did. Marvellous new build of stone, marble, glass and stainless steel - very open airy and calm inside. Loads of parking, has Cafe with toilets and Restaurant with toilets - in fact there are lovely clean toilets everywhere. They have huge Shop like display windows with things grouped together that will be in upcoming Auction Sales. We were able to wander round a huge room filled with ' Miliaria and Ethnographica' items laid out on tables that were going to be in an Auction the following day. Not into anything like that (or thought we weren't) but it was fascinating. No old draughty, dusty, dark rooms here - Auction in the modern day.
