Our first time here and we very much enjoyed it. I booked via a facebook message and was answered very promptly. A warm welcome and wide ranging menu with extra specials on the blackboard. We opted for the mezze deal at £15 per person for three courses as it had everything we wanted to try on it. The house red wine and the Greek beers were very good and well priced as was the food. A selection of 10 different starters arrived, everything was very tasty - the kofte meatballs and king prawn wraps were particularly good. One has a choice of about 4 main courses and we opted for 2 each of moussaka and 2 kleftico (lamb). All meals were excellent, the Kleftico tender and succulent, the moussaka full of flavour. All came served with Greek potatoes and Greek salad - all delicious. With hardly any room for desert we waited a while before having the Paklava - again delicious. We will be back and thank the staff for the Happy Birthday banner that greeted my Mum, a nice touch.

Small no frills restaurant. Has a licence but you can bring your own wine which we did, and young waitress (grand daughter of owner) made us welcome including our bottle. Not many people in on this Thursday night but it is winter and tourists have all left our seaside town. Meze meal was a set price and very good value. You pay £5 more on Friday and Saturday night for the same meal. Lovely tasty greek food, you are given a taster of 10 of their starters and then you choose a main meal and a small desert is included for the same set price. I was absolutely stuffed. For the main I had the moussaka and my partner had the stifado. Delicious. When cooking had finished the family came out and sat in the restaurant and chatted to the diners. Greek music playing In the background all evening. Very informal. Would definitely go again

Visited last night (Thurs). Teignmouth was dead but Chinos was fairly full. Cosy family restaurant with lovely home cooked food. We had the mezzo all in meal..we had 10 dishes of mezzo Inc usual tarama/hummus/tzazici etc plus meatballs which were delicious and definitely freshlycooked..cypriat sausages/calamari/dolmades/musgrooms in garlic etc...pitta...thenchoice of certain main courses. My husband has the moussaka (much better than at the smart hotel we have just visited in Paphos!) I had the grilled chicken...also delicious...accompanied by a Greek salad and lovely fried potatoes....rhen pistachio baklava and ice cream all for £15 per head. They are now licensed but we were able to bring our own wine. Everyone who had eaten and passed our table to the door all said what a lovely meal they had had.
Reading some of the reviews beggars belief....moaning about the family owners eating at the table by the kitchen. ALL family Greek/Italian/Spanish do this...thats what it is... the family owners are utterly charming. This is what you need in a local good cosy restaurant. We will be regulars! We really wish them well.

We have eaten in this small Greek restaurant twice recently. On both occasions the food was excellent and the staff were lovely.

I had walked passed without realising it was a restaurant. It looks like a small coffee shop from the outside but is quite roomy when inside. It is not the tardis but did not feel squished in at any time.
The menu gives a good spread of choices across three courses. You can bring your own wine for a small corkage charge but I tried two of the new (to me) bottled beers. Fab.
There were six of us who had two courses each and including corkage on two bottles of wine and my beers came to £18 a head. Brilliant.
The Staff were fantastic and deserved a good tip - which they received.
