This was a beautiful building with an interesting grotto pool but our room was the only one without air-conditioning and the management made it clear they really didn't care. Only a few small windows opened which was a mixed blessing as our windows were 4 feet from the road. The sauna was never on and the hot tub was tepid at best. There was a bar but never anyone to get us a drink. The management seemed to barely tolerate us. At one point we were sitting in the lobby having a very civilized conversation when they asked us to go out to the street to chat. We are very travelled so I do not think we did anything out of the ordinary to elicit this response. The Wifi, when available was very slow compared to other places on the island. The breakfasts were excellent in variety but suffered in supply. They would only fill the coffee urn half way and it was usually exhausted within a few minutes. Most other items ran out just as quickly. There are so many places to chose from I will not chose this one again.

Room Tip: Make sure your room has air-conditioning.

When stayed 6 nights at this hotel.
The first day we got a friendly welcome and were explained which location to visit, El Teide volcano, Santa Cruz, Las Americas beach, Garachico (the old capital).
Then we went to our room and were really surprised by the old style. When then went to a jaccuzi (the best ever). After a nice dinner at San Miguel Bogeda we went back to our room and had a very quiet night.
We went to the breackfast and enjoyed a lot what they offered : good fresh bread and croissants, strawberry and peach jam.
The staff was also very nice.
Only to improve : the WIFI has a low signal ;
the laundry service offred only washing not ironing.
The son of the owner took care of us very well during our stay.

This place is very special and unique. Old intelegent Lady met us when we arrive, she fits this place perfectly. She talk very quitly and you want to follow the way she speaks and enjoy the bird singing and silence around. Its old family house, adopted to hotel. But you can still feel the energy from past time. They have a lot of old furniture and different stuff at hotel territory. Very nice rooftop withlong chairs, jacuzzi, hot sauna (you have to ask to turn it of 30 minin advance) and thermal pool underground. Rooms are big with big bathroom. There is a terrace near room 7 and 8. Breakfast was good too. We are in love with this place and want come back here again.

The room is old styled, but clean, nice and big. The bed was very large, and we had our own private terras with lying chairs. I do not know if every room has this. There is a big semi-outdoor (underground) jacuzzi for everybody, which was very pleasing. We did not go to the sauna because of the temperatures in Tenerife. The breakfast was very good and the people very kind. The gardens around the rooms were relaxing. The wifi is limited to the bar/lounge (which was always open).

In general a nice, quiet, relaxing, old-styled hotel with friendly people.
