The place is located very cetrally in Polignano a Mare, close to a wonderful public terrace from where you can see a beautiful beach. You have the same nice views if you stand close to the only one window, which is very small.
You enter the place from the terrace and a few steps lead down to a below ground level, small and very dark kitchen, no windows,
Steps, which are typical for old town houses and very nerrow lead to to the second room. It is very small but it has a great view down to the beach. There is a option to step out to enjoy the view on a kind of balkony, but it is too small to sit there.
On the last story there is a bedroom wirh the earlier mentioned mini window.
Why I would not recommend this is because of:
There is no normal bathroom! The shower is locaed above the toilef and you physically have to flood the wet cell when taking a shower.
The toilet flush only works of you press hard and several times and it needs time to recover.
The views cannot be enjoyed from the flat by sitting somewhere and looking out.
From no where in the flat can you sit and see the sea.
The public terrace is very pupular and therefore very noisy throughout the night. You can hear every word in the bedroom as the complete thing is very tiny.
The kitchen below ground floor is not a place where you would like to prepare a meal or even sit down, it is like a mini cellar room.
A small issue you need several attempts to open the entrance door, it is metal and has reajusted to the key.
We has booked the place via airbnb and our total costs are 170€ per night. Far too much for this place.
